Generally I thought the food tasted good, but from the good reviews I expected more. The service was nice and quick, the ambience is comfortable.

I had the Bi Cuon summer rolls with peanut souce and Pho Hanoi. The summer rolls were a bit tough, maybe they weren't as fresh, they also lacked flavor and I couldn't taste the cilantro or Thai basil in them. The peanut sauce was ok, in my opinion rather bland. For the Pho Hanoi the soup itself tasted good and the noodles had a nice consistency. However, all in all taste-wise it didn't knock my socks off. The menu mentioned seitan, which I didn't really notice in the soup (I guess those few thin slices were seitan?). To the soup limes and green chillis are served but no scallions, no cilantro, no Thai basil, no bean sprouts as I expected. I asked for some Thai basil and cilantro on the side, but they only gave cilantro saying that they did not have Thai basil. However, on the menu several dishes including the Bi Cuon are said to contain Thai basil making me question whether they actually added it, thus it makes sense it tasted rather bland.

All in all this restaurant is fine, but nothing special and I wouldn't go again. If you had some good authentic Vietnamese food this might be quite disappointing, especially...

Ich kann beim besten Willen nicht verstehen warum hier Leute dieses Restaurant so loben. Die Suppen sind lange vorgekocht und wurden eingefroren. Es wird dann in der Mikrowelle heiß gemacht (deshalb die kleinen Schalen mit Deckel) und ein wenig Gemüse und Tofu reingeschmissen das kurz im Wok geschwenkt wurde. Und das für 13€... eine echte Frechheit. Und es schmeckte definitiv alt und nach TK.

Selbst die Sommerrollen sind vorgemacht. Deshalb ist das Reispapier so trocken, die machen am Morgen ein Vorrat und lagern es im Kühlschrank. Die Sommerrollen haben nicht mal Minze, Koriander, Reisnudeln oder Knoblauch drin. Es ist fad und hat bloß Karotten, Kohlrabi, Gurke und Salat drin. Das wars... kein Geschmack, bloß Hasenfutter. Ich versteh das es Vegan ist, aber vegan muss nicht fad heißen... Gewürze und Pflanzen mit pfiff sind vegan, nur so als kleiner Tipp.

Das Gyoza... zu teuer. Es ist from Großhandel und wird frittiert, schmeckt ebenfalls nach TK und war ziemlich fettig. Es schmeckt wie ein ein billiger Mandu den man 2 Jahre lang im TK vergessen hat.

Der Kellner tat mir leid, weil er gesehen hat das unsere Gruppe definitiv der Küche auf die schliche gekommen ist. Und das all unsere Köpfe sich gedreht haben als wir eine Mikrowelle gehört haben und beobachtet haben wie das Essen zubereitet wurde. Er war echt lieb und hat den Preis um 60% reduziert ohne das jemand von uns was gesagt hat. Er hat sich bei uns entschuldigt obwohl er rein gar nichts dafür konnte. Could not order due to miscommunication issues. I showed on item from the menu and the attendee kept repeating that they do not have meat. I just wanted to order one item from their menu. Eventually got tired to try to give them my money and went to Lantern next door. In 2 minutes I left with my food! Hint for owners: if a client comes, asks for an item on the menu and wants to give you money, do so! I could not understand what you meant by "keine Ente"...
