tl;dr: Best Italian dining experience I've ever had and a highlight of our trip to Munich. Michele is a wonderful man. Get the prosciutto. My girlfriend and I walked into Beccofino one evening looking for dinner, but did not realize a reservation was pretty much required. The staff seemed annoyed with us, but we reserved for the following night anyway. The next evening, we were the first patrons to arrive, and we got to chatting with Michele and sharing my Italian family history. After bonding, Michele and Massimo were absolutely DELIGHTFUL and not at all the same characters we thought we encountered the night prior. They took amazing care of us, and the food was phenomenal! I don't know why we didn't close our menus and walk out after the waiter was continuously rude to us. I think it was because we wanted to try the food. (The menu isn't in English--only Italian and German, so half of my family couldn't read it, and they were suuuuuuuper annoyed that we asked questions.) I had a pasta with beef, and it was fine. The stuffed raviolis were good. They then messed up one of the orders and tried to get us to eat it even when he saw it was wrong in the ticket. Finally, the waiter or maybe owner apologized and brought the correct meal. But it took 3 times going back and forth to fix it. When we left he charged us for two extra meals.
