The worst restaurant we ate at in Greece. The management has probably changed. After waiting 50 minutes, they brought us the first course, which was the salad. 50 minutes to make a salad? It was full of water on the plate, as if it had just been washed and placed straight on it. The dish was disgusting. While we were waiting, I saw the staff come in twice with shopping bags from the store — that explained the long wait. After 50 minutes we left without waiting for the other dishes, since the delay was unjustified and that watery salad soaked in mayonnaise was more than enough for me. When we paid the bill, the girl who had been preparing the dishes (the kitchen was visible) came out and was smoking. That would be totally illegal in Italy. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Food was more than good, as well as prices. My only problem was that we had been waiting literally for 2 hours for our main dish, and 1 hour for our drinks. There was only one waiter for a full restaurant with indoor and outdoor areas, not connected to each other. The waiter was very kind, but unable to service all people on time. I felt really sad for him. I would recommend the manager to hire more waiters, whilst the service was awful. It's sad, because apart from that the place was great. Although there was nobody eating sitting on the terrace at the moment I arrived, I took my chances and sat down. Ordered a dakos and sausages and a glass of red wine. Dakos was fine even though it was the first time I ate it. Later came two large sausages with some sort of tzatziki sauce and chips. Very tasty sausages. But as usual here in Crete, way too much for one person. When I asked to settle the bill, the waiter first offered me a dessert : a baked banana with ice cream and chocolate sauce.
