More Meni City Beach Rhodes — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

First the positive: The hotel is modern and furnished with love. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast is a la carte and freshly prepared. There is a fixed selection of sweet and savory dishes and every day an additional choice. The rooftop terrace won us over the most, in September there was not so much going on so we had this to ourselves on some days. However, the pool is very low (90cm), if that bothers anyone, for us it was fine. You can park for free in front of the hotel, we always found a parking space. The location is very central and you can be in Rhodes town in a few minutes walk. The hotel is located in the second row on Elli beach. This is a bit confusing, because the pictures that some providers show on the Internet convey a direct beach location. However, this is a beach bar that does not belong to the hotel. The sun beds also belong to this beach bar and are relatively expensive (20-30 euros). The hotel itself therefore has no direct view of the beach and also no beach chairs. Another point is the already often mentioned beach bar across the street, which sometimes has loud music on until 3 o'clock in the morning. We had initially also thought that some vacationers exaggerate here, but we were convinced of the opposite. Who is really looking for peace and quiet, is definitely wrong here. I was a little concerned that this would be a noisy hotel being based near the beach clubs. So I requested a quiet room which was at the back of the hotel and this was fine... I hardly noticed the beach clubs and had a very peaceful sleep. TBH this is rhodes so evenings are always full of entertainment and I've stayed in noisier "quiet" retreats.

Rooms have great furnishing, loads of space and the air con is perfect. I thought they were fantastic and very clean.

Breakfast is a la carte and cooked very well. A special mention about all of the staff. I dont think I've stayed in a friendlier hotel with every staff member being happy to help or say hello. It wasn't a case of asking for breakfast items.... more a case of declining as I was so full! All at breakfast were great!

The roof top bar is great for some views and an evening drink. It's a city hotel so the pool is really a cool down pool rather than something you can swim in but you can chill out around it.

So the bonus of being near the beach bars is.... you're near the beach bars! And it's located in a great spot for exploring the old and new town too. There are so many restaurants in a short stroll that we only ate once in the old town. Our 6 night stay flew by.

Hotel of dreams.|This is our 8th year visiting Rhodes! This hotel is by far the best we have stayed in.||Lovely location by all the nice bars/restaurants. We did not have any issue at all with noise from outside bars.. no more then you would expect from being on holiday.||The hotel itself is stunning. Beautiful layout, modern and very clean. However what made us love this hotel is the staff.|All the staff we encountered was extremely professional and very friendly. Every member of staff clearly cared about us as guests and made us feel very looked after and made our experience just wonderful.|We would like to thank Anna Maria for taking such good care of use in the evenings and providing us with lovely cocktails, Spiros made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond to help us and lastly the AMAZING Elena… we can not thank you enough for how much you looked after us, from looking after us at breakfast ( all the food is AMAZING) to looking after us by the pool.
