Cafe Estudio — Restaurant in Sacatepéquez

Best patio and probably my favorite place to spend the day in Antigua. The sandwiches are perfectly priced and delicious. I've hear great things about their omelettes but never made my way around to them.

With a different coffee every week, exceptional views of the erupting volcanoes, and a beautiful terrace, this is a top Antigua find. The wifi isn't always perfect, to the extent that Zoom calls may not be easy to orchestrate here, but I'd spent many a day working here...

This is one of my favorite terraces in Antigua. I used to love coming here, but unfortunately they have taken out the comfy couches and now they play bad American music on the terrace. I don’t come to Antigua to listen to ABBA while looking at beautiful volcanoes (especially in the morning). Playing out of date American music seems to be a trend in cafes around Antigua. Why not have cool chill Latin vibes playing???!

Marvelous panoramic views on the second floor make you feel like you are floating above Antigua on your own serene magic carpet. The coffee is fantastic and if a few more deserts were available to satisfy my sweet tooth I might have been able to resist their amazing frappes! That is my alibi, and I am sticking to it. I hope to return soon at night but if you are looking for someplace to bask in the sun and enjoy the beauty of Antigua...
