Read moreNot safe for a health and offensive experience! Ive been just for a couple hours in Budapest. Decided its cute to eat in cafe same to my name) In fact was a horrible nervous experience. Ordered Anna's pancakes (rolls with cheese) which were actually good for taste but inside of one it was a rubber black ring about 1cm diameter, look like some detail from kitchen supply or smth. I've informed the waitress about the case. She havnt even watch attentively what is that and immediately called the manager. The manager came and the first thing she actually said: "maybe this is a detail from your earings or headphones?" (I had a bluetooth headphones on my neckless). Then she proposed to cancel the dish from my bill and give apologizes. BUT! then the waitress came with a bill, giving it in a rude manner and said that she knows I put the ring by myself and they seen it on the camera. I was so shocked!! Seriuosly? When I had this inappropriate things in my meal and I could eat it or maybe even ate one before noticing, with this not safe case for a health - the personnel of cafe communicate in this manner blaming the client that I made a scam! I've immediately demanded to show me cameras but the manager said that they dont have camera angles on that side, and said that waitress is tired and I should understand it and dont pay attention to her offensive words, but at the same time they dont have anything in the kitchen which could cause the rubber thing in the food. No words. If I would not have the scheduled departure I would call the police. Seriously, this is absolutely not normal to have that kind of service and safety conditions in the center of the city, in Europe! and put blame on a client, act in this insulting way! Anna Cafe, take responsibility on falls you have! teach your personnel to have a basic human respect! In the end, the manager pushed twicely the waitress to say sorry, and the last one made big efforts to make it. Lost tone of nerves and energy and having a sediment...
Read moreStopped into this cafe for a quick bite to eat, we sat at the bar and all ordered coffee...I believe I ordered the marzipan coffee or something of that sorts which was honestly really good and they decorated it with a cute gold bean on top so I was very happy about that. However I ordered a chicken klub sandwich and I wanted to add bacon, our waiter said okay okay and looked annoyed that I asked and said it again.... when our food came out it looked like a very sad club sandwich with lots of bread and the littlest slice of chicken with the tiniest slice of cheese and absolutely no bacon. I asked for bacon and she just shrugged so maybe she couldn't understand but she once again looked at us annoyed. However my friend ordered the pork sausage soup and that was really good. We all ate our food despite the quality and we wanted to order the dobo cake. I said we want one cake with 4 forks and even pointed at the forks and she repeated" 1 or 4?" I said one cake with 4 forks and pointed again. She said "yes yes I know I know" and then walked away. She comes back with 4 plates of the cake and I repeat nicely that we wanted one cake and she literally rolls her eyes at us and stares at us, talks to what I think was her manager and some other waitresses who stare us down from the corner for a couple minutes. Very awkward experience. So overall...our waitress was very annoyed with us and gave us attitude. The food was okay, however coffee was...
