Burger King Emke — Restaurant in Budapest

“Beggars Burger Place” instead!!! I rarely write a negative review, but this one really deserved it. I’ll make it detailed to minimise confusion. I visited this place yesterday on the 28th July around 19:00. I ordered a very common meal with a burger plus a salad, and my order number was 981. After waiting sometime, I finally saw my order in green on the display. As sometime passed, all the rest of the orders were being delivered and my order vanished from the display (from the in-queue and ready). When 10 more new orders came and went, I got curious to know as to whatever happened to my order (ofcourse waiting for some more time was not an issue), so I asked someone about the status of my order, and the boy half my age, immediately got offended and replied angrily- “One minute OK”. But I can understand his attitude is justifiable for someone working at a place who call themselves “King” for no apparent reason. And here I was made to feel like a beggar at a place called “Burger King”. So I waited patiently, but nothing happened for another 15 minutes. Then a girl looked at one tray which was lying there with fries for 25 minutes, placed a burger and other stuff and handed it over to me. Please note - the fries were lying there for all this while and were dead cold and inedible. So, I requested her to please change them to fresh ones, which was done with an attitude that I was probably being too demanding. But as I was collecting the tray, I noticed that there was no salad. So, I asked the girl about it, she just turned away as if she was going to fix it immediately, but without giving me any indication of what happened, what she will do to fix it and when. So, there I was standing again made feel like a beggar. 5 Minute nothing happened, and fearing another angry- “One minute Ok” reply (read “how dare you question a king, shutup and stand back”). So I had to take a call to keep waiting and make the burger and fries stale again, I silently took a seat and ate whatever I could gather on my plate. The salad was nowhere to be found. When I came back at my place, I filed for a refund from my banking app, hoping some sense will prevail at some level - but not to my surprise - the request was rejected. I guess that makes sense - to remain a King you gotto hold onto all the money you can get, however it may be. Mr. Burger King, whoever or wherever you are, you owe me approx 500 huf for the salad, and probably more considering the service I received at a place which now-on will be called as “Beggars Burger Place” by me and my friends. I ordered takeout, after a few minutes they noted that the order was ready. I arrived to knock to pick up the order and the representative told me to wait, after a few minutes I saw that a package was placed on the entire table. I arrived again and there was another representative in place. I showed her the number and she ignored me. In the meantime, everyone who arrived after me had already received their food. I had to wait again for her to come to the counter. After 20 minutes I arrived at the counter and explained to them that I had not received my order. The person in charge of the shift informed me that they had called me several times and I had not arrived to pick it up, which was not true, because I was there the whole time. A kiszolgálás gyors volt és korrekt. A pultnál dolgozó emberek kedvesek voltak, a rendelés kifogástalan. Azonban van egy ok, ami miatt soha többé nem jövök ide, és nagyon meghatározó volt, hiába passzolt minden más. Mégpedig a takarítónő. Egy vörös hajú nő volt aki nagyon durván belemászott az intimszférámba, de nem csak nekem. Az első ilyen pillanata az volt, amikor épp várakoztam a rendelésemre. Egy üres asztal előtt álltam, ami tiszta volt és aminek a szomszédságában sem ült senki. A takarítónő viszont amint meglátta, hogy ott állok, mögém jött és egyből elkezdett ott takarítani. Természetesen egyből odébb álltam és elnézést kértem amiért útba voltam. Ekkor még nem volt gyanús. Utána leültem azon helyre, ahol a fal mellett végig fotel szerű pad van. Nyilván egyből odajött a takarítónő és a szomszédos asztalokat kezdte letörölni. Ezek szintén tiszták voltak, plusz az előzőtől elég távol, szóval biztos nem csak sorban haladt a takarítással. Majd elkezdte a pad támláját törölni és konkrétan a mögöttem lévőt is le akarta törölni. Egész konkrétan előre kellett dőljek, elvegyem a táskám és benyúlt mögém a takarítónő. Közben még mondikált valamit, de arra nem figyeltem, mert nyilván nyugodtan akartam volna elfogyasztani a rendelésemet ahelyett, hogy a személyzet 30 centire takarít mellettem alapból is tiszta helyeket. Miután tőlem elment láttam még, hogy egy másik nő, aki a fotelben ült, amögé is ment és annak is pont akkor akarta letakarítani a fotelét amikor ő benne ült. Láttam, hogy ennek a nőnek is kellemetlen volt az ilyen jellegű közeledés. Ami miatt pedig újabb mínusz csillagot kap az étterem, hogy a mosdóban nem volt szappan, holott a beosztás szerint már bizonyos "Bné" már takarította és karban tartotta a mosdót. Számomra tolakodó volt a takarítószemélyzet, és messze intim szférámba mászó. Ha letakarítják a mellettem lévő koszos asztalt az oké. Ha viszont valaki pont az én ülőhelyemet akarja takarítani, az nagyon nem oké. Biztos vagyok benne, hogy egy extrovertált embernek is zavaró lenne egy ilyen eset, de nekem introvertáltnak meghatározó annyira, hogy többet ne akarjak ebbe a Burger Kingbe enni.

Annyit tennék még hozzá, hogy ez az eset reggel fél kilenckor történt. Ami azt jelenti, hogy azok az asztalok és fotelek amiket takarítottak már tiszták kellett volna legyenek, mert aznap még valószínűleg senki se ült ott. A wc pedig ezek szerint már nyitásnál nem volt...
