Good: the salted caramel cake and the coffee latte is very tasty, good quality. The style, decoration, and design are nice.
Bad: when I entered the cafe, I don't know where I should sit down, the staffs are all so busy, i understood, so I went up to the second floor with my little daughter. Then I went down to the counter and tried to order, but nobody cared me, one girl was busy preparing foods and drinks...another Hungarian speaking girl staff is making a V60 ..but same time chit-chating with a customer for 10 mins (it seems they know each other) I literally waited in front of the cashier for 10 mins..I understand they are all so busy, but it would be better if they could just say: "hi, wait a moment please", rather than ignored the customers and chit-chating with their friend in the busy hour :(
Finally I could order, BUT another girl staff said: how many people? If you are just two, you cannot sit on the second floor, the upstair tables are for 4 people. She didnt even say thank you or please, on the other hand i said sorry to her and I collected my child and moved to the ground floor. However, I saw some couples were sitting upstairs too..I don't know why they can do it? Maybe they reserved the tables?
I understand it is a busy cafe, and they are trying to do their job, it is not easy but it would be great if they focus more on the customers ..
PS. The cake and coffee are really great, and there are two male staffs, they are both very friendly and...
Read moreA beautiful place with delicious food, but unfortunately, terrible service.
The setting is stunning, and the food is exquisite. However, the service I received was not appalling.
First, when I placed my order, the server appeared visibly annoyed and kept making faces while I was speaking—despite my being polite throughout.
When my order arrived, it was incorrect. I received the Egg Avocado Toast instead of the Egg Royal. Admittedly, I should have paid closer attention when confirming my order. However, it turned out that the dish wasn’t even meant for me—it was intended for the table next to mine. The server became frustrated when he realized I had started eating the food he mistakenly placed in front of me. Rather than acknowledging the error, he attempted to gaslight me, implying that I was at fault for taking the wrong dish. To make matters worse, he then casually delivered my intended order to the neighboring table, leaving the other guest to unknowingly eat the dish meant for me.
Lastly, I had to request a glass of water twice, as the server forgot about it even though I had asked when placing my order. It’s worth noting that the restaurant was not particularly busy at the time.
Despite the disappointing service, I still enjoyed my visit. The ambiance was charming, and the chai latte and the cheese cake was exceptional. I would still recommend the place for its atmosphere and food, but I hope the...
Read moreIn one sentence: Great food horrible experience. In more detail: My baby was sitting on a broken chair. So broken someone could really get hurt. When I told The waitress- she was not surprised at all(!) and told me that they are fully aware of the broken chair. She seemed to be annoyed with having to deal with this chair situation again and again probably as it is broken for a while. I inserted a photo of this chair that they allowed my one year old baby to sit on. SHAME ON YOU! My baby was holding her body half in the air and you are lucky it ended thanks to my awareness as a parent noticing your neglect. on top of that some of the staff was extremely unfriendly when we asked questions about the menu and took away half of my coffee when I went to the bathroom (they offered to replace it but at that point I really only wanted to leave. )
To The owner: replace unfriendly staff, Replace chair (!)/any broken furniture, make sure your manager knows to deal with clients and her own staff she seemed to be hiding from the situation. She offered a compensation she insisted we receive and then never gave it to us. You have a great potential with delicious food. I hate giving a bad review that have nothing to do with the...
