Yesterday my friend and I had an unpleasant experience. We ordered some food and drinks. My friend got tea — they brought her a cup with an insertable tea strainer, but without any saucer to place it on. There was no sugar either. When she asked the waitress about sugar, the waitress said it was by the stairs and that we had to go get it ourselves. Interesting system — fine.
While waiting for the food, we decided to move to another table, since we were sitting very low and it would have been uncomfortable to eat there. When another table became free, we moved. The waitress brought the food, and we told her we had changed tables. She got annoyed and started saying whether we had told anyone about it, and that we had to go downstairs to the counter to report that we had changed tables, otherwise we wouldn’t be able to pay. But she said it so abruptly and rudely that we got confused. It’s strange that you have to go and tell someone downstairs yourself just because you changed tables, so they can update the table number on your order.
A few minutes later, we politely asked the waitress again if we really needed to go downstairs because we weren’t sure we understood correctly. She replied very unpleasantly, “I already did it, because you’re too slow,” and walked away.
When the food arrived, we realized one of the dishes wasn’t what we had ordered, but we thought maybe we had misread the menu. However, when we got the bill, we noticed that the waitress had made a mistake and added an extra item to the dish, making it more expensive. But by then, we had no mood or desire to argue — we just wanted to leave as soon as possible.
Very unpleasant and strange service, where you have to do everything yourself, yet a 12% service charge is automatically included in the bill (so what exactly are we paying for?). And on top of that, they speak to you so rudely, even though you’re being polite. I definitely do not...

Used to go here everyday with my friends for a quick break (~30 mins) but the service is so slow so we ordered things for take away because last time it took more than 30 mins and we didn’t even get our orders and ran out of time.
The waitresss was so rude with a “Karen”attitude, and interrupted us while we were sitting and waiting for my order, she said “I’m not going to kick you out, but it is so rude for you to order take away and sit here” (while we were waiting for my drink for ~15 mins). We don’t mind paying for more service and she could’ve just mentioned this nicely, rather than passive aggressively threatening us by kicking us out.
We went to tell the other staff about this and the same waitress just had to come up to us and say “I was not rude by the way” while giving the mean face again.. :( Instead of just apologising to us, she wanted to argue more about it.
We really like the product of cookie beacon that’s why we kept coming back, but this just gave us an ick about the place now.. hopefully the management can improve the service...

Gather round, fellow seekers of the morning feast, for I have stumbled upon a breakfast establishment so magnificent it may, in fact, violate several laws of physics.
Upon entering, I was greeted by a staff so warm and cheerful that I briefly suspected they’d been replaced by highly trained sunshine-powered androids.
Now, the food. The food! Each plate arrived like a work of edible art, shimmering with the sort of beauty usually reserved for Renaissance paintings or well-organized stationery drawers. I took one bite and genuinely questioned whether the chef had made some sort of clandestine pact with an ancient breakfast deity.
The eggs were fluffier than my hopes for the new year. The toast was toasted to the exact molecular point between crunch and comfort. And the pancakes? I’m fairly certain they briefly levitated.
In short: If you’re looking for breakfast that borders on the supernatural—served by people who seem to possess an advanced degree in kindness—this is the place.
