Discovering a gem like this restaurant has been a heartwarming journey of nostalgia and joy. Living away from my homeland, I stumbled upon this place, and it's been like finding a piece of home in an unexpected corner of the world.

The magic of food in evoking memories is truly remarkable, and this restaurant excels at it. Each bite of their exquisite dishes takes me on a trip down memory lane. I'm transported back to those cherished moments of grilling with my father, sharing my day's stories with my mom, and listening to the amusing tales of my siblings. The flavors and aromas are so authentic, they almost bring my grandparents back to life, sharing their timeless wisdom about the perfect way to make lepinja and the secret touch of butter on grill meat that elevates it to a royal feast.

Their culinary mastery extends to creating an ambiance that resonates with my culture. The melodies of sevdalinke playing in the background perfectly complement the dining experience, making it feel like a festive gathering back home. And no matter how satisfying the meal, there's always a special place for tufahije, a dessert that rounds off the feast beautifully.

The food here is really tasty, with fair prices and generous portions. There are often guests from the Balkans as well, which says a lot. The place itself is quite small, so it’s best to book a table in advance.

The only downside was that our order got mixed up twice. One of my friends ordered a regular portion but received a large one instead. The waitress said she’d check, but then returned with the food – along with a couple of other dishes meant for someone else – and placed it in front of my friend without explaining whether it was the regular or large size. He couldn’t finish it, so half of it had to be packed up. When paying, he mentioned that he ordered a regular portion but got a large one. They asked if he had eaten it all; when he said no and explained he had it packed, they charged him the regular price in the end and didn’t even offer to waive the packaging fee. It’s not about the money, but about the service and principles.

It might have just been a one-time mix-up since the place was quite busy, but despite this, I still recommend trying it...

Tényleg fájó szívvel kell megírnom ezt a visszajelzést, mert imádtam ezt a helyet; ha kizárólag az ételek minőségét nézem, szerintem az egyik legjobb kaját csinálják a városban. Ezt a lentebb leírtak ellenére is így gondolom.

A szolgáltatás színvonalával viszont úgy gondolom, komoly problémák vannak. Egyre többször fordul elő, hogy az internetes rendelésekből kimarad valamilyen tétel. Nem a fő tétel, de pl. a hagyma is a rendelés része, kellemetlen, hogyha nincs benne a rendelésben. Azt is tudom, hogy előfordulnak hibák, lehet pótolni, de az már nyilván nem adja azt az élményt.

Az applikáción hosszú ideig hiába volt feltüntetve a 20%-os kedvezmény, nem vonták le a rendelésből, ez mostanában megoldódhatott, már levonja. Tudom, hogy történhetnek technikai problémák, azt is tudom, hogy ajándék lónak…, ennek ellenére kellemetlen, hogy feltüntetnek egy kedvezményt, amit nem érvényesítenek.

Ma este szintén applikáción keresztül rendeltem, 20.42-kor, helyszíni átvétellel. Az app szerint 21.02-kor a rendelés átvehető. 21.02-kor mentem be az étterembe, ahol a srác közölte, hogy még nincs kész. És, hogy ha nem bánom, várjam meg kint, mert nagy a forgás. Nem bántam, nem tettem szóvá, kimentem, kint vártam. (Valóban elképzelhető, hogy nagy a forgás, nem vonom kétségbe, amit mondanak, azt pedig mindenki döntse el maga, hogy ez az eljárás illendő-e, emiatt nem minősíteném a helyet.)

Jöttek-mentek a futárok, 21.20 körül megkérdezte a srác, hogy mi is a rendelés száma. Újra kijött és közölte, hogy nagyon sajnálja, de a rendelés eltűnt, fogalmuk sincs, hol van, de keresik és a türelmemet kéri. Tudom, előfordulhatnak technikai hibák és el is mondta, hogy sajnálja, nem is vártam, hogy ennél többet tegyen.

Jött egy másik kolléga, ő is megkérdezte, hanyas számú rendelés, ő is elmondta, hogy fogalmuk sincs mi van vele, de olyan 6-7 perc türelmet kér és kész lesz, jó-e ez így? Nem tudom, hogy azt a választ várta-e, hogy természetesen tökéletes, sőt köszönöm eddigi fáradozásaikat, de talán érthető, hogy itt azt a választ kapta, hogy: hát jó, de mostmár közel háromnegyed óra telt el a rendelés óta. Erre széttárta a karját és közölte, hogy elnézésemet kéri, de ők ilyen rumliban nem tudnak mindent követni.

Az ételt nagyjából 50 perccel a rendelés és 30 perccel azután kaptam meg, hogy az app szerint készen volt. A kezembe nyomta, aztán ott is hagyott, hiába kezdtem még el egy mondatot, nem volt rá kíváncsi. Az étel minősége kifogástalan volt.

Igen, tisztában vagyok vele, hogy a dolgozók fáradtak lehetnek; azt is tudom, hogy történhetnek mind emberi, mind technikai hibák; azt is tudom, hogy egy forgalmas napon nem könnyű követni minden folyamatot maradéktalanul; tényleg, mindent megértek. Csak amikor már a sokadik hiba történik és amikor a felszolgáló indoka széttárt karral, flegmán az, hogy ilyen rumliban nem tudnak mindent követni, ott talán érdemes lenne azon elgondolkodni, hogy valamin változtatni kell. A rumlit nem a vendég okozza, a rumli következményeinek elviselése pedig szintén nem várható el a vendégtől egy bizonyos szint után, de ennek megítélése természetesen relatív.

Tényleg őszinte sajnálattal, de a jövőben hanyagolom...
