During my visit to this cafe, I found it to be a suitable place for enjoying a cup of coffee and studying. The prices were reasonable, and the quality of the coffee was quite good.
However, I did encounter a couple of inconveniences. Firstly, I noticed that the cafe closes quite early, at 5 PM. This limited the amount of time I had for studying and enjoying the atmosphere.
Another challenge I faced was the limited availability of power outlets. In the area where I sat, there were only three plugs, all of which were already occupied. This made it difficult for me to charge my devices and affected my ability to study effectively.
On a positive note, I appreciated the excellent air conditioning inside the cafe, particularly during the current weather conditions. It provided a comfortable environment for enjoying my coffee and focusing on my studies.
In conclusion, while the cafe offers good coffee at reasonable prices and a pleasant atmosphere, the early closing time and limited access to power outlets were minor drawbacks. If you plan to visit, I recommend arriving early to secure a spot near an available plug if you need to charge...
Read moreAs a coffee afficionado, i would say that this place has not earned their steep prices. Cappuccino i had here was just mediocre, very bland taste-wise. I'm expecting my cappuccino to have more character than that, tasting more like coffee than milk, latter being the case here. The place itself is pretty cozy, but again, very generic. Every other trendy, modern coffee joint looks like this today. And way too many modern train-wrecks here talking loudly about their multiple mental health issues, but thats the world we're living today i guess. Not this cafe's fault in any way, but their concept obviously draws this sorta crowd more than average place. What i found borderline insulting here was that when paying with card, i was asked to press "tip" option beforehand. I'm not tipping BEFORE i have had my service and the chance to taste the stuff i ordered. Especially thinking that this place already has some 30% air in their prices, this really gave me an unwelcoming feeling and the feel like i'm more in some tourist trap than in a place where i'm welcome to have my cappuccino in a relaxed...

Not gonna lie I saw mark wiens came here with one of the locals in budapest and knew this was going to be a spot to try. So we made the trek out to the pest side of the city and got a taxi to take us to espresso embassy!
The inside has a cool modern brick stone vibe kind of like your underground. There were many locals inside sitting and just hanging out/reading. They provide free still and sparkling water as well!
What we got: Iced Cortado (800 HUF / $2.07) Espresso Tonic (1200 HUF / $3.11) Almafröccs / apple spritz (450 HUF / $1.17) Iced coffee Chocolate passion fruit cake
Total bill was around $10 which is extremely cheap for 4 drinks and a dessert! Really loved this place the workers were nice and the drinks were perfect. The drinks were all not that big but perfect for one portion. You can really taste the quality of the coffee in...
