Istanbul kebab & grill török étterem — Restaurant in Budapest

I went to Istanbul Kebab with my family based on Google Reviews, but I strongly disagree with this rating based on my experience for dine-in. Below is the summary of my experience:

Food was not warm, they had to microwave the meat and chicken plates. It was still not warm enough, I went back to counter and asked them to make it warm, they had to microwave again . I noticed they didn't place the food trays on hot plates or over hot water.

Customer service was not good, they let us wait for several minutes every time I went to counter, either for additional sauce or for getting the food warm. They didn't even say sorry that the served food was not warm enough. Every time they showed they were not happy, neither anyone gave professional smile

Taste of food was just ok, chicken fillets were over cooked (may be due to microwave) . Boneless beaf stew piece with fats....lentil soup was tasteless

Food quality was pretty bad, all of my family got their stomach upset for next 24-36 hours. I believe it is because the food was not put on optimal temperature and they served kind of rotten food to their customers like us.

I will never ever go there again and strongly suggest everyone to avoid it. They really have to improve food quality, add heaters (hot water) under the trays, remove all the "fake" (in my opinion) reviews , improve...

We enjoyed a delightful lunch at İstanbul Kebap, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The menu offers a wide variety of options, catering to all tastes, and the flavors were simply outstanding. The kitchen was impeccably clean, which added to our comfort as travelers.

The prices are very reasonable, and you’ll leave feeling satisfied without straining your budget. The service was top-notch, with the chef, Mr. Hayrettin, and the entire team being incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the dishes. Their warm hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable.

The chicken gyros tal (salad with chicken and fries (or rice or spicy rice) and pita strips and sour cream was delicious. Rice delicious. Super fast service. Only drawback was the falafel and it's not that great, so if you're looking for "good or better" then move on. Pita bread was okay. However, the other things we tried were great. I would have given 5 🌟 if the falafel was good. I would definitely eat here again. Order at the right side of counter and just jump in line as it's first come first served. Pay at the left. Drinks at cashier. Card or cash. Sit inside or out. Plenty of seating. Busy even at 10:30 PM. Thanks, Istanbul kebab...
