Updates after the reply from the restaurant:
Regarding the Rib: Please check "Premier Beef Rib" photos UPLOADED BY THE OWNER for comparison, where they used exactly the same name "Premier Beef Rib" as what I ordered.
When ordering, we showed the photo to the waitress to avoid the confusing, but she was NOT SURE what beef was in the photo. As one of the most common pictures/orders from the review, I felt STRANGE. Then, she discussed with the boss for several minute and pointed out the most expensive one "Premier Beef Rib" for us to order. Now that the owner said this should be pre-ordered, but why we were asked to order the "Premier Beef Rib" from the menu without being told the pre-order thing? Does the pre-order thing exist at all?
When scanning the previous reviews, I noticed a "customer", who was just travelling, where the pre-ordered "Premier Beef Rib" was available immediately. Not only this customer, but lots of other reviews were written by someone, who only posted 1 google review. Please be careful about these reviews.
Regarding the 10% service fee: You can always write small footnotes somewhere and claim it's there. I hope more people notice this by reading my experience for transparency. We visited the restaurant because we saw the premier beef rib photos in the previous review. We ordered that (most expensive beef rib on the menu) by showing the photo to the waitress, but we got the beef with different quality. I uploaded the photo so you can compare. Therefore, don’t trust the high review. They also added 10% service fee without any communication. The food in general was good, as well as the waitress. We paid Ft 10000+ more per person, but still felt hungry after leaving...
Read moreOn days like this, when it rains, they seem to be filled with various memories and reflections.
For those born after Generation X in Korea, thanks to the material abundance and economic development, along with the rise of dining-out culture, each individual must have their own memories related to Korean BBQ and family dining experiences.
When I was young, I used to go to a BBQ restaurant with my father every other Saturday. After finishing my academy, my father would come to pick me up, and we would spend time together grilling meat and having dinner. The BBQ restaurant in my memory was always bustling and a bit warm due to the heat from the grill, but it was a place full of cherished memories for me, where I could savor delicious meat.
As I grew older and found myself in a different continent, even in a BBQ restaurant in Hungary, while grilling meat and looking at the Danube River, these memories suddenly surfaced. I suppose it means I had a truly satisfying meal. I extend my gratitude to the kitchen staff and the staff members who provided excellent food and service.
P.S. For guests who are not familiar with Korean culture, I would like to offer some advice. Korean BBQ restaurants are not like fine dining establishments; they have a traditional atmosphere where people grill meat together, engage in conversations, and enjoy drinks. The lively and bustling ambiance is normal. If you want to experience Korean culture, it's one of the best places to do so. Come with your friends, try grilling meat, and have some soju or beer cocktails. If you ask the staff or other Koreans present, they will gladly show you how to enjoy it to...
Read moreAs soon as we entered the store, there was a particularly strong and choking smell of oil smoke! We made a reservation and arrived on time, but the store was full of empty seats, and there was no sign that any table was reserved. We booked a table for 4 people and randomly chose a seat for 4 people to sit down. As a result, the waiter came over several times to ask us to change seats. After checking our reservation information, he found that there was no problem. When we asked why we had to change seats, he couldn't tell us the reason. Finally, he squeaked and whined that a Korean guest was coming soon, so we had to change seats! The person who seemed to be the manager was also extremely rude. I suggest that Chinese people don't come here! Very bad experience! ! ! ! ! !
The attitude of the shop owner in replying to me shows how bad the experience was! Arrogant and rude to the extreme! This is the first time I give a bad review as a level 5 guide! It is said that low-level people in Korea like to cheat. The shop owner said that I booked the seat last week. Fortunately, there is a call record to prove it. However, the recent date of the iPhone can only show yesterday and today, but no specific date. But it doesn’t matter, I...
