First impressions were not to enter this place as it was empty & next door was rammed....
I should have trusted my instincts! We went in sat down and had menus thrown at the table. Eventually the waitress appeared & took our order a coffee and a tea.
The staff were very loud shouting and laughing across the restaurant to each other. They were playing loud (not got talent) music. Whoever was singing it was definitely not Whitney.
Our order arrived & we then had to asked for milk to go into the coffee.
The staff then went & opened the front door so all the cold air came in as did their vaping (I mean really)
We finished & just before we paid they started to mop the floor with the dirtiest smelliest mop I have ever seen. It was disgusting.

Read moreKamara Café – Budapest We stopped for a quick drink at Kamara Café, perfectly located right opposite the synagogue. It’s a great spot for people-watching, with lots of passersby and a buzzing atmosphere.
We had a cold beer and a tea — both were really good, especially refreshing on such a hot day. The prices were also fantastic — this was easily the most affordable place we found for drinks during our trip, and the beer was excellent quality.

My cream cheese and salmon bagel was ok but I had the pleasure of seeing green bits on the salmon and am glad to say I asked for it on the side and didn’t eat it. The server was rude and abrupt and very unaccommodating. Wouldn’t recommend! Don’t come here for more than a cold drink, and certainly not a coffee as that will be cold. Overall...
