Random Bagel Budapest — Restaurant in Budapest

The bagels are extremely overrated — quite frankly, they are very mid to terrible. We tried the Jonas Brothers and NYC Salmon bagels. The bagel itself was soggy, greasy, and way too sweet. The NYC bagel was mostly mushy cucumber; you could barely taste the tiny amount of salmon and the low-quality cream cheese tasted of nothing. The Jonas Brothers bagel had an overwhelming sweet taste that completely overpowered everything else and it just tasted like jam. In conclusion, nearly all the ingredients tasted bland — except for the extremely sweet jam. My suggestion: add just a fraction of the jam, use fresh and freshly cut ingredients, and don’t be shy with seasoning, even if it’s just salt. Also worth mentioning: the restaurant does not offer any bathrooms, which is not okay when serving food and drinks with seating options — even a basic sink to wash your greasy hands would help. What’s the good part? The staff is friendly and the presentation is lovely. But if you close your eyes, you realise just how bad the food really is. No wonder the place was...

I dare to say this place offers one of the best bagels in Budapest. They are freshly made with high quality ingredients. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. We tried 3 bagels on the menu and they were all excellent. I highly recommend the Random bagel and the Larry Bird bagel. They are just perfect!! NYC Salmon is a great option too, especially if you’re looking for something on the lighter side. Definitely stop by this cozy bagel shop when you’re in the area and don’t miss out on this...

When I went in the person who served me was very sassy, I didn’t like his attitude.. after a while he became more friendly in the approach.. the cuppacino I got was NOT EVEN WARM, COMMON NOW? How disappointing..

The bagel that I got was just okey. As someone who eats everything and is not even picky when it comes to food, they could make it so much better.. they have a lot of things to work with and unfortunately I won’t come back again.. every overhyped restaurant isn’t good folks & this one...
