It’s a shame to give this place a 1 star review as it does have potential.

The food was good sized portions with lots of flavour for each different dish that was served, the menu had a good variety of options to pick from even if Thai is not your preferred choice of food.

The main issue with this evening was how disgusting one of the members of staff was. I understand places need staff and sometimes people need to come in however the lady serving us was either sick or just had no manners at all. Constantly coughing, not covering her mouth while doing so, not washing her hands after this action let alone when she was picking her nose and then continued to lift plates from tables and the delivery of fresh dishes to other tables. This unfortunately made my partner not want to finish off her meal as we were halfway through.

When serving your customers it’s nice to accompany each guest with a smile and make them feel welcome however the only time she smiled was when I paid for the bill.

Again I wouldn’t strike this off as a bad meal as the food didn’t actually taste that bad, however the coughing situation dropped this review from a 4 to a 1.

The food was pretty good for the price: both the panang curry and the pad Thai tasted good, and the mango lemonade was also pretty good. But atmosphere was not very friendly. The plastic plant decorations are not very nice, and the restaurant is next to a busy road. One of the restaurant workers was smoking a cigarette outside that we could smell inside. Also, we went there with a coupon that was purchased for 11000 Ft and for that we could pick 2 main meals and 2 desserts, which, at the maximum, is 8000 Ft. This already feels a bit awkward, but on top of this, there was one meal in the main dishes section that was like 600Ft more than all the others, and when we asked about that, the server was very quick to point out that if we ask that, then that comes with extra charge. Sorry, but that’s not fair since the coupon did not mention this exception. There were already a bunch of exceptions (like no whole fish dishes), and so it felt like they are counting every penny. I think the customer experience would be better if the deal was to get 8000 Ft off the total bill, for example. So overall, I can recommend getting a takeout from here, but not necessarily eating in...

Yum Tom with shrimp soup was tasty, MSG or not. Chicken pad tai was not so great...kinda empty on anything: a pile of noodles with occasional chicken pieces and chopped peanuts on the side. Served with ...lemon. I guess no limes are in town. No herbs. No egg. Bean sprouts were on the side but they were badly browned. The service was non-existent. When I arrived the restaurant was empty not counting a group of 5 Thai ladies enjoying their meal. When I asked what they were having, the answer was “It is not on the menu”, and we got nowhere after I further probed (looked like quail to me). After serving me my meal, my lady never checked with me : she was daydreaming and not doing anything useful, just looking in the window and not paying any attention to me even though I was the only patron by then and have been staring at her for a good ten minutes. I finally called her for a check. Standard 12,5% service charge was automatically added to the check. Unless you are starving and everything around is closed or super busy, don’t bother.
