Chatime 日出茶太 Baboo Tea — Restaurant in Reykjavik

If you like classic tea you'll probably like their milk teas aswell but they're a bit bitter and watery, at least from what I've tried (signature milk tea and jasmine green milk tea). Their fruit tea is sweet and refreshing, recomend if you have a sweet tooth. This is all coming from someone who has never had boba before previously from tasting these. Oh and also you have to tell them you want pearls in your drink, they seem to forget to ask if you'd like some, but maybe its just my fault that i forget to ask, but it is a boba place after all right?

Service is allright, they weren't particularly kind or rude but from what I've heard reading these reviews it varies, witch is not a good thing.

This store shares a common space with 100 Iceland Hotel so if you are not familiar, they are 2 different business entities. So be warned!!! I stayed at the adjoining hotel and I also lingered at chatime for its tasteless watered down matcha drink. One afternoon coming from my hotel room, I used Chatime door to go out while they were closing down and this staff bluntly told me to use the hotel door. I said, "I'm sorry" because I thought they are one business. He blurted out, "you should be!!!" I looked at him in the eye and left!!! Boba is good and very fast service ,but if u dont want ur day to be ruined by a very rude and unfriendly service i wouldnt recomend this place, my friend had an anxety attack due to the male staff angrily scolding them for trying to order and then again for “paying to quickly“, whatever that means.. seeing other reviews dating back to 2021 talking about the same staff begin rude baffles me how he hasnt been fired or spoken seriously too,, i wouldve lost my job in a day if i had the same...
