Disappointed (reviews do not match with real experience) :/
The starter was good and the products felt fresh. However, the dough of my caprese wasn’t crunchy, nor soft. The dough was somewhere in between and surprisingly really difficult to cut with the knife provided. The cutlery itself was also disappointing, as it had clearly visible dirt and even a small piece of stuck-on residue, which should have been polished properly before use.
The pizza was good enough, but nothing remarkable. The wine (Tommasi Bosco del Gal) was enjoyable and probably the highlight of the meal.
Unfortunately, the service has really lowered the whole experience. The woman serving our section was unfriendly, unpassionate, and not talkative at all. She haven’t greeted us, haven’t asked how everything was, whether we were enjoying our meal, or if we needed anything else. At one point, while we still had olives as a starter, she simply picked up the plate and took it away without asking. This felt careless and dismissive. It gave the impression of being in a self-service café rather than a restaurant.
As someone working in hospitality myself, I found it extremely terrible experience. A restaurant experience should be welcoming, professional, and attentive. None of which I felt here. Absolutely terrible service overall, with food being the only reason this review...

Starting with the garlic bread, it's a delightful prelude to the meal, with its tantalizing aroma and perfect balance of garlic and oil. Generously portioned, it sets the stage for the culinary journey ahead.
The pepperoni pizza, baked to perfection in a wood oven, is a thin-crusted delight. The ample sauce and flavorful pepperoni combine harmoniously, satisfying the palate with each savory bite.
Moving on to the spaghetti aglio olio peperoncino, it's a hearty dish that exudes warmth and comfort. The flavors of garlic, olive oil, and chili pepper dance on the tongue, creating a symphony of taste that delights the senses.
For dessert, the crostata di mela is a sublime finale to the meal. With its cakey sponge and apple pie-inspired filling, it's a sweet indulgence presented with elegance and flair.

Read moreDifficult one. The place is nice, we were told by a local it only opened a couple of months ago, had a well known chef, so we were excited to go. Service was friendly, but - as we discovered the past 2 weeks - fast in a typical Icelandic way. Starters - carpaccio and bruchetta salata caprese were good. Although the 'bruchetta' was pizza dough/bottom which makes this otherwise delicious & light salad heavy as a starter. Mains we took spaghetti with meatballs, penne con pollo and the osso bucco. The pasta's were good with full and strong flavours. The ossobucco was a bit of a disappointment. The shank was lumpy, with too much fat, little marrow and the polenta lacked taste and texture. The desserts didn't bring an uplift - the cannoli had more of a whice chocolate cream than real chocolate mousse as indicated on the menu, with uninspired cooking chocolate pellets sprinkled on one end (and pistachios on the other). The affogato was 3 scoops of ice completely submerged by coffee, while one scoop in a bottom of coffee would have been more appealing. For 40K ISK I expected a more satisfying experience. I normally don't write these lengthy reviews... Really believe this place has lots of potential, the pasta's and starters made that clear, good luck to the crew to...
