We had gone to coffee shop after coffeeshop looking for a perfectly brewed cup of coffee and kept getting disappointed. We read multiple reviews and decided this place was our last option before giving up-- and we are so glad we didn't! The friendly barista explained the options, and it's clear they take their coffee very seriously, including notes with the cup that include bean origin and roasting date. My husband got a V60 that was so flavorful, and I enjoyed a cup of each of their daily brews - the honey one being my favorite. We each also got a croissant that was perfectly flaky and buttery. If you love coffee, do not pass up Kaffi O-le!

We stopped into this cafe on our first day in Reykjavik, and then kept coming back for the next two days because the coffee and croissants were the BEST in town! And we went to a lot of coffee shops…The baristas were very knowledgeable about the different coffee bean types and roasts, and we ended up getting two bags of beans to take with us as we continued on with our travels to the Golden Circle. If you enjoy a quality pour-over experience with a sweet cafe vibe, make sure to stop by O-le!

I was going there twice a day for 3 days straight as the hotel breakfast coffee was poor and the filtered coffee here was great. But I’m so turned off from this place now.

I don’t appreciate being yelled at that the register will close for the next 5 minutes because the barista had no help and was overwhelmed. There are kinder ways to say there would be a delay, especially before some people have had their coffee and have less tolerance. Not to mention, if you’re having people wait, that’s totally fine, but you don’t allow 3 other people to place their orders first who came in after. You have the guests wait in line and not direct them away from the line. Poor manners, waste of time.

A friend of hers walked in and asked if she needed help and she said no. I should’ve interjected and said yes so I didn’t have to wait 20 minute for a filtered coffee...

Been in Iceland a while; I make 2-3 espressos a day at home for over a decade. Most of my trip has been filled with waste of $ and waste of calorie mocha’s. However this place was the first coffee shop I finally took a sip and was pleasantly surprised as my body relaxed as I was processing the delicious flavors of this properly made mocha latte.

If you love coffee as much as I do, you won’t be disappointed coming here at it was 100% worth the $ also the ambience was light hearted and relaxing.
