Aubree @MGRoad — Restaurant in Bengaluru

This is the first time I have ordered from here after hearing that it is an award winning bakery with 5 stars and falling for the repetitive ads on Instagram. I should have read the bad reviews if Aubree on Tripadvisor first. They are more accurate than Google reviews. I thought I would order the smaller things first before I tried out a large cake. I am glad I did that. The 2 cupcakes I ordered, vanilla and chocolate, were very ordinary. The cakes were dry and tasteless where cupcakes have to be rich and moist. I think these cakes are kept frozen and defrosted because they certainly weren’t fresh. The buttercream icing leaves an oily taste in the mouth. The jam butter biscuits looked large and vibrant but the taste was equally mediocre and there was certainly no butter used. My local bakery does a far better job with biscuits and cakes at a far more reasonable price. The only thing I liked was the New York cheesecake. It was light, mildly sweet and refreshing. Will I order from here again? Nope. The stars I have given are for presentation and for the delivery. 13th April: The Aubree customer service sent a message today asking me to leave a review on Google. When I told them the cakes were stale they actually suggested that I should have called them so that they could do a “sample test”. Are these stools for them to take a sample test? Plus it is such arrogance because it means they don’t believe the customer, and frankly who has the time to call them up and wait for them to come over to take their blessed sample test to justify their stale cakes when there are...

I recently visited Aubree Bakery with my son, hoping to treat him to some delicious desserts. While he thoroughly enjoyed the vanilla cupcake, unfortunately, our experience took a sour turn when we got home. Upon checking the bag, we discovered that the New York cheesecake I had ordered was missing. To add to the disappointment, the cupcakes were in a messy state, clearly indicating unprofessional packaging.

Despite reaching out to the manager about the missing item and the poor condition of the cupcakes, it took them two days and multiple reminders to respond. While the missing New York cheesecake was eventually delivered, I was disappointed to find that no solution was offered for the messed-up cupcakes.

Overall, I must say I was not impressed with the level of service and attention to detail at Aubree Bakery. It's disheartening when a business fails to uphold basic standards of professionalism. I will certainly think twice before recommending this bakery to others or...

We selected a custom theme cake for my nephew's 5th birthday, and the team was highly responsive, patiently addressing all our requirements. They provided a quotation, though I found the price a bit on the higher side. It's worth noting that full payment was required upfront, as there was no option for an advance payment.
