Was guided to Konark for a veg meal as I was struggling with a bad tummy. I was recommended and tried the Dal Khicdi. The dish was a generous portion and just right to settle my belly. Accompanied by a fresh small bowl of tomato and cucumber it felt just right. Polished off with a fresh lime soda which was downright refreshing. One of the best I have ever had - 7 stars for that ✨️ I just felt that Rs. 230/- for the Dal Khichdi was too much of a price. I really am lost with prices post Covid. Possible that am complaining unfairly. Service was sluggish and chatter too much among the staff. Ambience was also so-so. Place was decently packed on a Friday holiday night - so I guess must be regulars dining for their favorite bites. Am going to visit next when my wallet is a bit fatter - phew 😅

Konark Restaraunt is classic old restaurants of bangalore which is known for its quality food, have been visiting here for the last 30 years. , they have only improved and maintained consistency with quality, no wonder it is crowded on weekends, ample amount of parking available here, Food- best dosas are available, would suggest onion and paneer dosa to try as they really delicious, Chinese bhel is a must try, paneer any main course or starters it just melts in your mouth, soups - Have tried lemon coriander, veg manchow and tomato, felt all three were good, overall food is really worth the money, tables/seating are quite close to next ones which makes the place noisy as they need to accommodate 100+ in that restaurant , apart from that everything is 5/5

Food here is good. We ordered panner wrapped with fried noodles and a Chinese sauce dip for starter which was good. For main course we ordered Veg Shanghai along with kulchas and naan which was also tasty. All items were less spicy. Finally for dessert it was sizzling brownie :D Cost wise it's moderate, but they have quite lot of new options to try in veg. So it would be best to try something new here rather than going for popular items which we normally have everywhere. One thing here I noticed is service is good and fast in spite of new crowds coming in. All items were served in less time rather than keeping us wait for long time like in most of restaurants. It's good for all veg food lovers.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Konark Vegetarian Restaurant, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. This hidden gem is a haven for lovers of vegetarian cuisine, and I can't wait to share my positive experience.

From the moment I stepped in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for an enjoyable dining experience. The staff was not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, providing insightful recommendations based on personal preferences.

Now, let's talk about the food! Konark truly takes vegetarian cuisine to new heights. The menu boasts a diverse array of dishes that showcase the chef's creativity and commitment to quality ingredients. Each dish was a burst of flavors, expertly crafted and beautifully presented.

The standout for me was the [insert your favorite dish], an absolute culinary masterpiece that left me craving more. The flavors were harmonious, and the textures were just perfect. It's clear that the chefs at Konark are passionate about what they do.

In addition to the fantastic food, the portions were generous, ensuring that no one leaves the table hungry. The prices are reasonable considering the high quality of ingredients and the impeccable service provided.

The cleanliness and attention to detail were also notable. The restaurant is well-maintained, and the staff goes above and beyond to create a pleasant dining environment.

Overall, Konark Vegetarian Restaurant is a shining example of excellence in vegetarian dining. Whether you're a dedicated vegetarian or someone simply looking to explore the world of plant-based cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. I'll definitely be returning to savor more of their delightful offerings. Highly...

Pros: For a vegetarian place, and being in this field for such a long time, this place has still maintained some amount of quality that was there earlier. Though not huge, this place has enough parking to accommodate perhaps 15 cars, without being too cramped. The food is at par with most of the fast food diners but seems to priced slightly on the higher side. Cons: Service is often slow and the servers need to be reminded. Decor is still consistent with the place - has an old world charm but not really great. Furniture definitely needs to be upgraded as does the lighting. Music is non existent. Overall, this place is meant for people who are looking for a quick bite and nothing more. With better restaurants nearby, I would not like to visit this place again. The worst problem is turning out from the restaurant on to the main road, which is an arterial road, is usually jam packed. Though this place does feature a small party hall, the seating arrangement is often haphazard and blocked by pillars. Unless one is a die-hard fan of this place, I don't recommend it to anyone, unless you are on the same road and need to...

I visited yesterday (6.11.22) and was grossly "disappointed" as the food quality & prepration was absolutely unsatisfactory. We had Vada, Dosas (plain & masala both) and Filter Coffee. Both Vada & Dosas were the worst, not to my expectation. I had been coming to this restaurant for the past 40 yrs and this place used tobe one of my "prime" location for good veg south Indian items. But this time, i am shocked, and have decided not to come here again. I am pained at my experience. Perhaps, the owners are in the process of "winding-up" this restaurant, and they are probably wish to incash the Real estate value of this location. I believe that the original cheffs are not there any more. The kitchen is being run by inexperienced people, as the items which were served to us, were not at all as per my expectations. As a staunch lover of this restaurant (up til this time) i would advice the proprietors don't leave with a bad taste. You may close this, but close it with respectful opinion. Not only me, but thousands of Bangalorians have enjoyed your place for years. If you wish to LEAVE, leave with "grace", not like this....
