Cafe Kohinoor — Restaurant in Mumbai

Uff!! We were searching for some fine food after reaching csmt station and on the way of India gate and finally found this restaurant, the prices were so reasonable and I really loved the taste. There are varieties of food items available like sea food , chicken egg and some vegetarian options as well. We have ordered egg fried rice (Full 90 rupees) and surmai fish fry (100 rupees) .. the taste is so good and it's worth visiting. It's located like 500 meter distance from csmt railway station. I initially came here looking for butter bun (bun maska) and malai as I liked it from kohinoor restaurant (Pune Camp). But they no longer serve butter bun and malai. They now only serve items from that black menu card in the photos section and some breakfast items like dosa in the morning.

I ordered butter chicken (INR 140). It tasted like a paav bhaji with chicken in it. Abhorrent. Plus they didn't have naan. They gave lachha paratha (INR 10), which was alright. They show INR 12 in menu card but charged INR 10 which is bizarre.

There is not a lot of seating...

Cafe Kohinoor located near CST Station on Perin Nariman Street in handloom house area. The food is good and hygienic. We tried Paneer Bhurji and Chicken Afgani with Parathas. Both dishes were equally good. You can get a wide variety here from chinese to north indian. Tea was simply awesome. Prices are great. Owner and staff was very well behaved, ethical and courteous. If you are visiting here on Friday then avoid going in between 1 PM to 3 PM as the market remains closed for afternoon prayers offered by muslims...
