Haldiram's Raj Kachori is a delightful rendition of this classic Indian street food. The experience begins with a visual treat as you lay your eyes on the sizable, golden, and perfectly puffed kachori shell. This shell is not only visually appealing but also maintains its crispness, providing a satisfying crunch with each bite.
Upon taking the first bite, you're greeted with a harmonious explosion of flavors. The spiced and tangy tamarind chutney blends seamlessly with the cooling effect of the yogurt, creating a delightful contrast. The mixture of sprouted moong beans and boiled potatoes adds a satisfying hearty quality to the dish, making it more than just a snack – it's a substantial, flavorful meal.
The seasoning is well-balanced, with a hint of heat from the spices that doesn't overpower the other flavors. It's this balance that makes Haldiram's Raj Kachori stand out. The garnish of finely chopped onions, sev, and fresh coriander adds a nice textural contrast and an extra layer of flavor.
In terms of quality and taste, Haldiram's Raj Kachori is a winner. It manages to retain the essence of this iconic street food while providing a hygienic and consistent experience. Whether you're indulging in it as a quick snack or a satisfying meal, this offering from Haldiram's doesn't disappoint. It's a fantastic representation of the vibrant and diverse world of Indian...
Read moreFor starters, the service is pathetic. To call it below par would be an understatement. We were excited that Haldiram's was opening an outlet close to us (Infiniti Mall Malad). The billing and service is very slow.
We faced an issue with their service twice.
Occasion 1- We ordered Dahi Puri along with other dishes and we were waiting for it to come. We asked the attendant and it turned out that it was ready but never served to us. When she brought it, it was all soggy and we had to ask for a replacement. We had also ordered coffee and the server forgot to bring it again. Also it was a cold coffee which was far from cold.
Occassion 2- We had ordered Chana Bhatura and I informed the biller that my table number is 14. She wrote it on her copy of bill. The server saw order number 59 and gave it to table number 59. We waited for a good 30-35 mins for it and saw that people who had ordered after us were being served while we were still waiting. When I enquired, I got to know that our order was served to someone else and we could not get a refund because our order was ready. We were so disappointed that we had to leave it without eating it.
I would suggest anyone going there, please keep checking with them or else your order will go to someone else.
Also, never ever planning to...

Who would have thought a humble namkeen shop would evolve into a chain of restaurants? Well, Haldiram’s has done just that. From their roots in the bustling Indian snack market, they have expanded their horizons to offer a full-fledged vegetarian dining experience.
You will find their small retail eat-out outlets popping up everywhere in Mumbai, from the convenience of Borivali Railway Station to the bustling malls like Infinity and Growel's 101. What sets them apart is their commitment to pure vegetarian food, devoid of any artificial additives like soda.
After indulging in a hearty vegetarian thali or a plate of chole bhature, you will be pleasantly surprised to find yourself feeling light and refreshed, rather than bloated. It is a testament to their commitment to using fresh, wholesome ingredients. This outlet has a decent seating space so that you do not feel crammed in the mall’s food court. The focus is clearly on the food, and in that department, they deliver. Weekends it is a mad rush. But that is still tolerable, then, eating the junk of burgers and pizzas and soiling your health and wealth both. Isnt it?
All types of cards and cash payments are accepted here. Parking is within the mall, so nothing to worry about it.
