Neelam Food Centre — Restaurant in Mumbai

I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant in Ahmedabad, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The moment I tasted the Aaloo Gobi Curry, I knew I was in for a treat. The flavors were rich and authentic, with the perfect blend of spices. It was accompanied by freshly made roti, which was soft and served piping hot.

To complement the meal, I also enjoyed a refreshing Raita that provided a cool and creamy contrast to the curry. The restaurant's Butter Milk and Lassi were equally satisfying, offering a perfect balance of flavors. The addition of crispy Papad added a delightful crunch to the overall dining experience.

What impressed me the most about this restaurant was its affordability. Despite serving high-quality food, the prices were reasonable, making it an excellent option for both casual outings and family gatherings. This is the only restaurant in CSMT Railway Station. Others are fast food types!

Neelam is located opposite the cloakroom, near platform 14.

The downstairs location is for a quick bite and go!

Upstairs is a compact family restaurant type, fully air conditioned.

Comfortable seating arrangement.

From a huge menu, i had non-veg thali (see pics): curry chicken, roti (5), cucumber carrot salad, dal, cauliflower and carrot tarkari, raita, paneer tarkari and rice.

The non-veg thali was satisfying, It was wholesome satisfaction to my tastebuds. The portion was satisfying. I felt content, my belly was full. I will give their food, service and vibe a four stars!

Should I come to Mumbai again, certainly i will dine at Neelams again.

Very arrogant rude persons sitting at counter. People come to this shop to have lunch or breakfast by seeing a good ambience from outside. But the people rendering service are too much arrogant. The owner should close the shop or give it to other Food rendering service people. The people in the shop do not have manners to talk with people. When you are giving service , you should remember that it is because of customers that you are surviving . Worst service, no talking manners, seems to be uneducated staff. Even a small Tapariwala gives a good service , talks politely and in a good manner. I strongly do not recommend thiS shop. Please find another option on...
