UNCLEAN!!!

My experience at the McDonald’s in Pondy Bazaar was deeply disappointing and concerning. After waiting over 30 minutes for what is supposed to be “fast food,” I expected at least a semblance of quality and efficiency. Instead, I was greeted with an unacceptable lack of cleanliness.

While ordering a second drink to ease the overwhelming spice from the peri peri fries, I noticed an alarming level of uncleanliness at the café counter. Ants were crawling around openly, and visible mould was present in certain areas. As someone from a healthcare background, I was appalled by the state of hygiene in what is supposed to be a food preparation area. This is not only unacceptable but poses a serious health risk to customers.

Extremely Disappointing Experience

We had one of the worst experiences at this McDonald’s outlet. We ordered 4 burgers (2 chicken and 2 egg), and all of them were absolutely inedible — the taste was so bad we couldn’t even take more than a bite. Since we had already paid and the kids were hungry, we somehow forced ourselves to eat a little, but it was honestly a struggle.

To make things worse, the mango smoothie tasted like some kind of medicine — completely off and unpleasant. It felt like everything we ordered went wrong that day.

The atmosphere added to the disappointment. The AC wasn’t working properly (if at all), and in this hot weather, it was extremely uncomfortable. The place clearly lacked proper maintenance.
