Eat Me! Ubud — Restaurant in Bali

Terrible service! I had 3 vouchers from this café, which I won at a Padel event. It’s important to note that the voucher had no expiration date.

After receiving it, I went several times to Eat Me Family Ubud, but the café was always closed — and it has been closed for almost a year now. Question 1: Why would you distribute vouchers for a café that no longer operates?

Later, I went to Eat Me Ubud. The very first thing I asked when I arrived was whether they accepted these vouchers, and the staff said yes. However, after preparing the food and after we had already started eating, they suddenly told me the vouchers were not valid and that I had to pay. Question 2: Why did the manager first confirm the voucher and then deny it afterwards? This was clearly her mistake, and I don’t understand why I had to pay for it.

On top of that, we ordered one dish but were served something completely different. The manager also spoke and understood English very poorly, which made the whole situation even more frustrating.

Overall, I was left with a very unpleasant impression of this café. The business is not loyal to its customers — they promise one thing and do another.

First time trying it is a nice cozy cafe with maximum seating capacity of 10 people.. Food is very delicious 😋 we tried their chicken shawarma it was really good solid 8/10 ingredients were fresh chicken was moist juicy yet crispy, sauce was delicious and the veges were fresh, we also tried their chicken burger which was juicy and flavourful. The lady told us restaurant is HALAL! Just one thing they can improve is the sitting area tables were very wobbly! But the food was delicious and bit pricy but really good I will...

When this establishment opened, I was excited because the taste of shawarma was the best in Ubud, and I no longer had to order it from Denpasar. I made around seven orders - flavors, moisture, proportion, and ingredients were great then. However, the last time I ordered, I got raw chicken meat in my shawarma and got food poisoning....
