Meme's Kitchen — Restaurant in Bali

We came across this restaurant by complete chance while walking through the city, looking for a nice place for lunch. We originally stopped by just to try it out, but we loved it so much that we ended up coming back every single day of our stay.

The restaurant has a very homely and welcoming atmosphere, and from the very first moment, we felt relaxed – like we were visiting an old friend. The staff was always smiling, kind, and genuinely attentive.

The food was excellent – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The drinks were just as good, from coffee and cocktails to refreshing homemade lemonades. And the prices? Surprisingly affordable for the quality offered.

Although the restaurant is located right in the city center, it’s tucked away in a quiet side street, so you can enjoy your meal in peace, away from the noise and crowds. It became our little daily retreat.

If you’re looking for a place with great energy, delicious food, and a warm, friendly vibe – we wholeheartedly recommend it. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time...

I lived in Bali for over 18 years and I don't remember finding such a lack of passion and kindness from a Balinese family - food is extremely low quality, both Balinese and international dishes that they "try to make". Chicken satay almost uncooked and dangerous to it, I really had to leave it even if I never do this anywhere. When I mention to the waitress/owner (speaking Indonesian so she definitely understood) she replies arrogantly, without any care. This business only wishes to make money off tourists without having any respect for them - I strongly recommend avoiding it since there are hundreds of other places who...

Very very disappointed, hope the manager will see this message. I broke my leg and was walking with crutches, which is long and difficult. We arrived, very tired for me after having walked 25min with the crutches to eat in this restaurant. We arrived at 20h52 exactly and got refused while the restaurant close at 10pm. We argue that we would order very fast and that I am not able to find another place close to this one as I can't really walk, they didn't care and we had to walk away.
