Hmm, I kinda intresting to try this restaurant because they have a long line queue. Made me curious.
I came around 12, and lucky it not too long for wait. The restaurant decorated with red and yellow color and big drawing at the wall.
There have many seats and because it indoor they donāt have any smoking area. Space between one to another seats is narrow, I can hear what my side neighbour talk and so with neighbour across me when they loudly laugh.
Since this their soft opening, the restaurant was very crowded. And because of that the air conditioner on the restaurant doesnāt feel cold.
They serve japanese cury with big portion, and because of that I just ordered one menu and share that.
It really big .. plate, I asking the server if it possible the curry put on the side because I donāt like the curry flooding over my rice and katsu. And they said it can, and also I asking spicy level 1 because i couldnāt eat spicy food.
Also, I choose add on for an omellete.
And when it comes, I amazed with the plate, it really huge but because my curry put it separately it looked empty on my plate. Lucky I choose add on omellete because I feel hungry.
The omellete was tasty, the texture which bit runny and the creaminess is very yummy 𤤠, for the katsu is like common chicken katsu. Not bad.
For the curry, this have dominant of sweetness level iāve never tried before. All of the curry which I try mostly savoury. I can say this not tasty, but this not common curry taste. The sweetness level for their curry in scale 1 to 10 is on 6. Nevertheless the flavor balance to another. Level 1 spicy is totally ok for me šš¼, If you a spicy lover maybe you need to add it to maximum level. Ah, they serve the curry with grated cabbage with sprinkle sesame dressing and paprika slices.
If you ordered Ice ocha, it refill but the taste is bland and didnāt feel like tea. It more like a color water with ice š¬ and it pricey tho.
If you really curious to try, I suggest you came earlier so you donāt have queue and more...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe portion was really as big as you imagine lol the Monster Combo can feed up to 4 people (3 if yoy're a big eater). It had 1 full loin of Dori Katsu, smaller piece of Chicken Katsu, 2 Shrimp Tempura, and small amount of beef. The amount of sauce was okay. Taste was also fine. It was not as thick as the one from Co*o Ichibanya. If you prefer lighter taste this might be just right for you. We had lv 4 for spiciness but really it was not even slightly hot.
The dessert (toast) was really good. Crispy outside but also fluffy and not oily. Perfect combination with fruits and ice cream. So basically no problem with the foods, but I found our dining experience was not fine due to other inconveniences.
I don't know if it's because they were only recently open but the service was bottom-line acceptable. Well it felt like fast food service instead of decent restaurant for me. How could they simply said all stuffs from their menu book, except the curry rice and side dishes, like the pasta, ramen, appetizers, everything else, were not available? Then why put them on the menu???
I asked whether we can have more red pickles (because the amount included in the menu was too small to be shared for 3 people), they said it will be extra charged. Then we want to do takeaway for remaining side dish, also need to pay extra charge for the box. We didn't ask about extra sauce but it probably will cost you more as well lolll for a 100k+/person restaurant this sounds ridiculous.
When we initially ordered the toast with mango topping, the employee also said it was not available so we had to choose other variant. But during our meal someone else ordered the same menu and we clearly saw the mango toast being brought out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent here for Dinner at around 7 PM, quite packed at the time since it was still new. The ambience is really bright and welcoming, but the seats are frankly quite packed which leaves us with no room for privacy.
Ordered their 219k** large plate of curry which could be shared amongst 3 people. The meal took fairly long to arrive but its still nonetheless gives a surprise factor as to how large it is when it arrives. If I remember correctly it got cheese chicken katsu cutlet, dori cutlet, and shabu shabu beef. Sadly, I wasnt informed that they ran out of the shabu shabu beef at the time, and was left really disappointed knowing that it was replaced with sausages without being informed beforehand.
The curry itself is more the sweet type, and it is drenched with their special chilli sauce depending on how much you request it. The chili sauce is nothing special in my opinion, in fact it tastes like the chilli at bakmi places. The cutlets however are quite superb, i really enjoyed their dory cutlet amongst other (its really flavorful and the portion is really generous). The rice is also cooked very well which pairs it extremely well with the sweet curry sauce. However, to me the curry remains overly sweet to my liking... nevertheless it might've just been my personal preference. For the portion, I'd say the price is decent, but next time i'll just order their dory cutlet curry if I return. This restaurant is worth the...
