I had the pleasure of dining at Piasan Restaurant with my family, and I must say that it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service that set the tone for the evening.
The ambiance of the restaurant was both charming and inviting. The soft, warm lighting and tasteful decor created a cozy and intimate atmosphere that was perfect for a family dinner. We were seated at a comfortable table with a lovely view, adding to the overall appeal of the restaurant.
Now, let's talk about the food. Piasan Restaurant truly exceeded our expectations in this department. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and each dish we ordered was a culinary masterpiece. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was nothing short of impressive. It was evident that the chefs at Piasan take great pride in their craft.
The main courses were equally outstanding. Whether it was the perfectly cooked steak, the flavorful pasta dish, or the mouthwatering seafood, every bite was a revelation.
What truly stood out, though, was the impeccable service we received throughout the evening. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. They were more than happy to accommodate our dietary preferences and offer recommendations, making us feel like valued guests.
To top off the evening, we indulged in some delectable desserts that were the perfect ending to a perfect meal. The dessert menu was as impressive as the rest of the offerings, and we savored every spoonful.
In conclusion, our dinner at Piasan Restaurant was a memorable and delightful experience. From the warm welcome to the outstanding cuisine and exceptional service, every aspect of our visit exceeded our expectations. Piasan Restaurant has certainly earned a place on our list of favorite dining spots, and we look forward to returning soon. Read moreFor many years the Piasan has long been a favourite ‘must-go’ restaurant whenever in Bali. Sadly, with no thanks to Covid, the Darwinian theory of the survival of the fittest is alive and well so on return there’s always a million questions as to whether the restaurant is actually still operating and if so, will the food be just as good? and what about the staff, the Chef etc. Clearly, management’s long-term commitment to quality and perfection over the years has paid big dividends. The ultimate acid test is that even after a two year hiatus the Piasan remains as strong and as vibrant as it ever was. Tucked away just behind the Kaymanis Villa and Spa in Bali’s Nusa Dua, the Piasan Restaurant sits in minimalist fashion as architecturally stunning as it ever was. With a clever blend of glass, timber, open space and water this has to be one of the most tranquil, romantic dining venues you'll ever find.....anywhere. The food here remains as fresh, clean and honest as it was the very first time many years ago with the service still quintessential Balinese ‘calm and charm’. Attention and efficiency without intrusion is impressive. The choice of ‘Indonesian-Italian’ fusion remains a very attractive, if not, a rather unique concept. White tablecloths and decent glassware are always a good sign in any restaurant and enhance the ambience even more so, if that’s at all possible. Attention to detail does not go unnoticed. Well done Piasan, you’re still seriously good and remain number one priority on my Balinese...
Read moreWe came here with much anticipation, because of fine reviews. One one side, the good reviews were justified as the atmosphere, environment, menu and service were all good.
However, the portions are frugal, and we left hungry. I had the delicate Saffron Risotto with prawns and the thin layer of risotto with halved shrimps atop, had my mind thinking where we might go for dinner afterwards. Whilst the taste of my risotto showed experienced hands in the kitchen, arborio rice is not expensive and doubling the rice would not have increased food cost substantially. The garnish was beautiful with the fresh edible flowers.
The Osso Bucco was tasty and recommended. The quality of the meat, the tomato and white wine sauce delicious and the accompaniments were all beautiful but once again, the portion was on the small side. I would have increased the risotto portio and added some veggies and it would have been perfection.
My compliments to the Chef for the skill. However, my recommendation is to be more generous, given the pricing is on the fine dining side and guests should never leave hungry.
Onto desserts, my partner wanted ice cream and all we were offered was Vanilla, Strawberry and Chocolate. Frankly speaking, fine dining restaurants ought to eliminate these basic choices from the menu.
My Tiramisu was a child's portion.
We would only return of we were not hungry and wanted a light well prepared dinner. We decided to go to a neighbouring resort for a Salted Caramel and Black Sesame and Earl...
