Nice decor, full of wood themed motifs. Comfortable seating and friendly staffs. Place has aircon and open areas. Generally very beautiful landscape and design around the restaurant.
As far as food and drinks go, not up to standard. The most glaring disappointment was the coconut juice. First, it didn't come in the actual fruit. It was drained into a glass and worse of all, it was diluted with water. The excuse was that they ran out of stock. This fact should've been conveyed to the customer and allowed the customer to choose a different drink.
As for the pork rib, depends on your luck. I came in a group. Some were OK, some were tough and overcooked. When I say OK, I meant mine was adequately flavoured, but wasn't tender enough. Doesn't have the perfectly cooked falling off the bone kind of quality. Averagely edible but nothing you would travel for.
As far as duck goes, it was an interesting visual presentation. It came as a whole duck. Uniformly fried and coloured by its appearance. Plating looks ok but the whole presentation appears 'dry'. The skin had a good enjoyable crackling texture with a nice thin fat layer underneath it. However the meat had surprisingly different tenderness at different parts. Some areas were tough and dry, some parts were deliciously tender and juicy. Cooking a whole poultry takes skill because different parts cook at different speed. This I admit. Hence the ability to do it well is rare. This restaurant (as far as my duck goes. Other diners may have a different experience) definitely haven't mastered it yet.
I understand that they look overwhelmed by the large number of patrons at that night, as they look fully booked. But still, that should never be an excuse. In short, good dining environment but few more improvements are needed to lift up its dishes quality...

I was vomiting nonstop in Bali and after returning to Singapore, I was hospitalised for 3 days for food poisoning. This dishonest restaurant also initially told us that they would process a refund then totally back pedaled and quietly did not process the refund.
As a regular in Bali, I always look out for established and recognised places to eat, to avoid Bali belly. We saw very little reviews at this place but it seemed decent, so we gave it a shot. My partner and I ordered eggplant, Tom yum, Bebek Goreng, and Kare Fish (FYI this was our only meal the whole day as we spent the day travelling). No drinks with ice.
Within a few hours, we ended up puking and having diarrhoea for hours and had to call a doctor to our hotel to receive treatment (injections, antibiotics etc). After informing the restaurant of this food poisoning, all they could tell me was that (amongst other things) “the restaurant is far away from the street and rubbish” and that no other guests had food poisoning (FYI we only saw 2 other couples dining - at 8pm…). We are horrified and disgusted. Not to mention, our bill came up to SGD 60+ which is quite pricey for Bali standards.
After sending the restaurant our doctor’s reports, they offered us a (1) spa experience at their hotel, or (2) dinner at Piasan - a restaurant next to Tetaring operating out of the same kitchen. We are not taking our chances and we will not be stepping anywhere near this...
