Read moreThe best place in Nusa Dua! I can't speak highly enough of Manarai Beach House, everything from start to finish was just top quality. The best food I've ever eaten (chicken Nasi Campur Bali is out of this world!), and probably the best cocktails we've ever had. The presentation of food and drink is superb, and the quality is just top notch. Their beach is so pristine, with comfy loungers and umbrellas, the towels are provided, and you will even get tiny cold refreshing towels on arrival. The staff takes the customer service to a whole new level, friendly, polite, accommodating and super kind. We enjoyed this place so much, that we spent most of our days and evenings there, only going back to our hotel to refresh and change clothing 😀 Music, vibes, interior, surroundings, just everything there is excellent! The WHOLE team made us feel like we were at home there. Special thank you and mention to Vera, for always welcoming us with the smile and accommodating us. Christina- thank you for looking after us on the beach, making sure our drinks are always cold and topped up! Eliana- thank you so much for your friendliness and explaining the menu, and thank you for lending us the umbrella when it rained!!! Tato- thanks for THE BEST cocktails we've ever had! We enjoyed chatting and laughing with you, and we will never forget that fantastic MaiTai you made us on our last night! Please don't get that alligator, maybe another cat 😉 Dika - your recommendations for cocktails were spot on!!! That flame and glory was just out of this world, like you said! Also, we will never forget that rain on our last night and your kindness to give us umbrella, even knowing we won't be able to return it! You are legend! Stephen - thank you for finding my sunglasses, and thank you for being super kind and friendly, always. You have the biggest and most kind smile! You guys made our stay in Nusa Dua unforgettable, and we will cherish our memories from Manarai forever!!! We will be recommending this place to anyone who goes to...
Read moreMixed review unfortunately, we were staying at the Sofitel when we saw the Manarai beach house and thought it would be nice for drinks and a bite to eat in the evening along the beach. We opted for the seafood grill for 2 which they said was most popular and they had a roaring Wood-fire bbq out front so went with the suggestion… when it turned up from behind us we realised they must have cooked it in the kitchen and not the bbq as advertised. On first bite it was so rubbery and tasteless I asked if the fish was fresh… the manager said “it’s imported from overseas and taken from the chiller” I said, surely not… you’re next to the ocean. Anyway, I stopped eating immediately and she came out with an equally poor dessert to apologise which was hard and equally flavourless (she was lovely) the food was not. The dragon sushi roll to start was equally as poor unfortunately and we’ve now been sick for 2 days which has ruined part of our holiday. The good bit! Barman, staff, ambience and the cocktails were amazing… nice strong tasty cocktails and great setting. It’s just a shame the kitchen has let it down and made us sick… the nail in the coffin was it’s the most expensive meal we’ve had in Bali, and...
