During my two weeks stay in Ubud, I had dinner at least four times at this small Italian Restaurant. It was located just besides the entrance to the homestay where I stayed. I am British/Italian and live in Italy and during my travels around the world I have never sought Italian Restaurants. Strangely enough, for some reason, this little restaurant appealed to me, and I had a desire to eat a pizza, which back in Italy I eat on few occasions. The little restaurant is set on three floors. On the ground floor seating is on stools and you eat at the counter which runs around two sides of the kitchen. The first floor accomodates six tables and I would imagine the second floor to be similar. The restaurant has a very good atmoshere and is very nicely decorated with tropical plants. The lighting is well thought and gives the ambience such a warm feeling. It is a very cosy setting. The service is excellent with an abundance of staff always ready to satisfy the needs of clients. as for the food, which of course is the most important factor, I can say that I was completely satisfied. I must admit however, that having tasted the pizza with salame, I did return three other times to eat the same pizza. As I said, I don't often eat pizza back home as I find it too filling for my tatste. The pizza here is made exactly as I prefer it, low with just the right crustiness and with a very tasty salame. I always accompanied the pizza with a classic Mojito which was also very well made and finished off with a vanilla ice cream. On one occasion the ice cream took a little longer to be served. They had run out of vanilla ice cream and had someone run to get it from somewhere else. They apologized for the wait, but wasn't that just a wonderful service. I'll miss this little restaurant with its very pleasant atmosphere and very courteous staff. If I should ever return to Bali and Ubud, I will certainly return to this...

We happened to be in the area and saw jinny’s garden and decided to have lunch here… and boy! What a truly right decision we made! 😁
The place is only less than 100 metre square but has 3 leves dine in area, each filled with green scenery that makes the atmosphere a lot cooler in the middle of hot dry sunny outside…
We tried their popular poke bowl and their unique signture miso carbonara spaghetti. My wife truly loved each fresh ingredients in the bowl and the plus side, they allow you to make your own bowl too! I personally thought the spaghetti is truly unique. It blends the stellar miso taste with creamy parmesan cheese and a little nori on top. What a delicious dish indeed 😋
Towards the end they let you snag a picture in insta in return for mystery gift, but at the end the gift was a can of sprite 😅 (actually they have their own snack for the gift but unfortunately it’s sold out and they offered sprite instead, perhaps to tackle hot sunny day outside? Hehe a little downside but that’s okay… the good foods are enough to make up for it😉
