Saturday 25th June 23.30/12 approx. I just arrived with my friends to the pub and we went directly to the bar upstairs, I went to the edge of the counter and I ordered a jameson with ginger ale from a really nice barman, I payed over 10 euros for a drink (served in a plastic glass). When I was going to drink I realized my glass was leaking, I was in the edge of the counter and I tried to get the attention of the other barman (wearing a sport t-shirt with black and yellow strips) making signs to him with my arms and putting my upper body ahead as a reactive response, the guy started yelling at me saying that I was into the bar and that I needed to get out, I wasn't in fact inside of the bar and I said so to the employee, I just said I needed another glass as mine was leaking, the employee with the yellow and black shirt kept yelling really aggressively towards me, and I kept asking for a glass, then the employee took my drink from the counter and threw it into the sink looking at me and showing me the middle finger, I was on shock and I asked to talk to the manager, the manager came explaining that once you came into the bar the employee has the right to say whatever, I explained that I wasn't in fact inside of the bar and that the employee threw my drink to the sink and showed me the middle finger and his response was that the employee said I threw the drink to the floor - if the barman said that, the barman is lying. The manager then said he would check the cameras to see what actually happened later that night as he was really busy at that moment. I cannot belive either the manager and the staff will treat any costumer like this, they did not replace my drink neither apologized for this behavior, I hope when the CCTV is checked the owner of this establishment takes appropriate action in relation to...

Read moreThis is an incredibly racist bar that is not worth going to. I’ve actually been here before and enjoyed the music, but this latest experience has completely changed my perception of the place. When my friends and I (three American/British Indians) tried to enter, we were immediately stopped by the bouncer who simply said, “Not today, you’re not allowed in.” We were confused and tried to show our IDs, but were told they didn’t have to give us a reason. We then asked another bouncer, who also refused entry. When we requested to speak with the manager, she was extremely rude and dismissive. They claimed we were “too drunk,” even though we had just come from dinner and hadn’t been drinking. During this time, we saw them let in other people—who were all white—without asking for IDs or questioning their sobriety. When we pressed for clarity, the reasons kept changing: first we were “too drunk,” then “not dressed appropriately.” None of these made sense because we came from a dinner and dressed like everyone else. We later checked Google reviews and found many others had similar experiences, with complaints about racist treatment and aggressive staff. This was a deeply disappointing and racist experience. No customer should be treated differently based on the color of their skin. Even though I’ve previously enjoyed the music here, I will never return after this, and I would strongly caution others, especially people of colour, before going...
