If you’re looking for a place where live music truly comes alive, look no further than 4 Dame Lane! Recently crowned the Best Live Entertainment Bar of the Year 2024, this venue has earned its reputation for a reason. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the vibrant energy. The first thing that struck me was how welcoming the staff were. We were practically pulled in off the street by the infectious sounds and lively ambiance. It’s clear that they genuinely care about creating an unforgettable experience for their guests. The warm reception set the tone for what turned out to be an incredible night. The live music lineup is nothing short of spectacular. I highly recommend checking out “Midnight Mischief” on Thursdays from 12 to 2:30 am for a night of dancing and fun. And if you’re around on Sundays, “The Church of Scully” from 11 pm to 1:30 am is a must-see! The talent on stage is top-notch, and the energy in the room is electric. But it’s not just about the music—4 Dame Lane excels in every aspect of hospitality. Their cocktails are expertly crafted, and the attentive table service makes you feel like a VIP. It’s evident that the team goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest has a fantastic time. I'd say that quality service here isn’t just about meeting expectations; it’s about exceeding them. Whether you’re looking to unwind after a long day or celebrate a special occasion, 4 Dame Lane is the perfect spot. With its lively atmosphere, exceptional service, and award-winning live music, you’re guaranteed to have a belter of a time. Don’t miss out on this gem in the heart of the city—make it your go-to destination for a night out!

This is an incredibly racist bar that is not worth going to. I’ve actually been here before and enjoyed the music, but this latest experience has completely changed my perception of the place. When my friends and I (three American/British Indians) tried to enter, we were immediately stopped by the bouncer who simply said, “Not today, you’re not allowed in.” We were confused and tried to show our IDs, but were told they didn’t have to give us a reason. We then asked another bouncer, who also refused entry. When we requested to speak with the manager, she was extremely rude and dismissive. They claimed we were “too drunk,” even though we had just come from dinner and hadn’t been drinking. During this time, we saw them let in other people—who were all white—without asking for IDs or questioning their sobriety. When we pressed for clarity, the reasons kept changing: first we were “too drunk,” then “not dressed appropriately.” None of these made sense because we came from a dinner and dressed like everyone else. We later checked Google reviews and found many others had similar experiences, with complaints about racist treatment and aggressive staff. This was a deeply disappointing and racist experience. No customer should be treated differently based on the color of their skin. Even though I’ve previously enjoyed the music here, I will never return after this, and I would strongly caution others, especially people of colour, before going to this bar.

Title: A Hidden Gem with the Perfect Pint and Live Music I recently had the pleasure of visiting 4 Dame Lane, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Dublin, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. What truly set 4 Dame Lane apart, however, was their Guinness. I have had many pints of Guinness in my time, but none have compared to the one I had at this establishment. It was smooth, creamy, and full-bodied, with the perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness. I could not help but savor every sip, and I found myself ordering another before I knew it. But the real highlight of my visit was the live music. I arrived early on a Thursday evening, around 6 pm, and was treated to an incredible performance by a local musician. The music was lively and upbeat, and it created a fantastic ambiance that had me tapping my foot and singing along. The musician was incredibly talented, and I was blown away by the range and depth of their voice. Overall, I cannot recommend 4 Dame Lane enough. Whether you are a local or a tourist, this is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a great pint of Guinness and some fantastic live music. I will certainly be returning, and I encourage everyone to do the same.

Saturday 25th June 23.30/12 approx. I just arrived with my friends to the pub and we went directly to the bar upstairs, I went to the edge of the counter and I ordered a jameson with ginger ale from a really nice barman, I payed over 10 euros for a drink (served in a plastic glass). When I was going to drink I realized my glass was leaking, I was in the edge of the counter and I tried to get the attention of the other barman (wearing a sport t-shirt with black and yellow strips) making signs to him with my arms and putting my upper body ahead as a reactive response, the guy started yelling at me saying that I was into the bar and that I needed to get out, I wasn't in fact inside of the bar and I said so to the employee, I just said I needed another glass as mine was leaking, the employee with the yellow and black shirt kept yelling really aggressively towards me, and I kept asking for a glass, then the employee took my drink from the counter and threw it into the sink looking at me and showing me the middle finger, I was on shock and I asked to talk to the manager, the manager came explaining that once you came into the bar the employee has the right to say whatever, I explained that I wasn't in fact inside of the bar and that the employee threw my drink to the sink and showed me the middle finger and his response was that the employee said I threw the drink to the floor - if the barman said that, the barman is lying. The manager then said he would check the cameras to see what actually happened later that night as he was really busy at that moment. I cannot belive either the manager and the staff will treat any costumer like this, they did not replace my drink neither apologized for this behavior, I hope when the CCTV is checked the owner of this establishment takes appropriate action in relation to...
