I've seen my share of good, bad, and truly ugly. My recent visit to Trinity Bar in Dublin, Ireland, unfortunately falls into the latter category. While I always try to find the silver lining, this experience was so thoroughly disappointing that I feel a duty to share a candid account.

From the moment I stepped in, an uncomfortable tension hung in the air. This was no lively Irish pub. The most jarring part of the experience was witnessing the manager's behavior towards the staff. The way he spoke to them was appalling—a display of rudeness and blatant misogyny that was honestly shocking to see in any professional setting. It cast a dark shadow over the entire establishment and completely ruined any chance of a pleasant visit.

Adding to the dismal vibe was the soundtrack to this misery. The music selection was repetitive and poor, looping the same songs every hour and a half. It felt less like a carefully curated playlist and more like a punishment.

The drink menu was another letdown. For a modern bar, the lack of variety was surprising. There were no hard seltzers, like White Claw, or any of the popular alternatives that have become staples in bars worldwide. It felt like a bar stuck in a time warp. The only saving grace in this entire ordeal was the bar staff. Despite the toxic environment created by their manager and the abysmal working conditions, they remained incredibly kind and attentive. They were the one and only bright spot, and I truly felt for them.

Ultimately, I can't recommend Trinity Bar. While the staff deserves a medal for their resilience, the leadership and overall experience were profoundly negative. A pub should be a place of warmth, community, and good cheer. Trinity Bar, under its current management, is none of those things.

If you're looking for a genuine, welcoming Irish pub experience in Dublin, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. There are countless other places where you can enjoy a good pint and a lively atmosphere without having to witness such...

Excellent place and very well maintained.

Ambiance: The ambiance at Trinity is both inviting and energetic. The decor blends modern aesthetics with a cozy touch, making it a perfect spot for everything from casual hangouts to special celebrations. The lighting and sound system are top-notch, enhancing the overall experience, especially during live music nights.

Food and Drinks: Trinity boasts a well-rounded menu that caters to a variety of tastes. From classic pub fare to more refined dishes, there's something for everyone. The drink menu is equally impressive, featuring a wide selection of beers, wines, and creatively crafted cocktails. The quality of both food and drinks is consistently high, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful presentation.

Service: The staff at Trinity are friendly, attentive, and professional. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you'll feel welcomed and well taken care of. The service is efficient, ensuring that even during busy times, you won't be left waiting long for your orders.

Entertainment: One of the standout features of Trinity is its live entertainment. The venue regularly hosts live bands, DJs, and other performances, making it a hub for music lovers. The sound quality is excellent, and the performances are well-curated, offering a mix of genres that appeal to a broad audience.

Overall Experience: Trinity Bar and Venue offers a complete package for a night out. Its combination of great food, excellent drinks, superb service, and lively entertainment makes it a standout choice. Whether you're looking to enjoy a meal, have a few drinks, or immerse yourself in live music, Trinity delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended for a memorable...

So let's start with the elevator. There is a notice posted outside and inside stating that the elevator is prone to breaking down and its advisable to take the stairs. Sound advice, because on our stay one of my group got stuck in the elevator. You could say he was fully warned but when your room is on the 3rd floor (technically the 4th floor) the steep ass stairs are less than desirable. But the hotel staff reset the elevator and no tragedy occurred other than a little time loss. Now onto the good stuff! The food at the bar is absolutely delicious! We had opportunity to try the breakfast AND the dinner and loved it! The staff is fantastic, sassy and well informed givingus solid advice and directions, generally! The rooms are very unique. My room was very small leaving barely room to pass my buddy with out rubbing bodies together but then we really only needed the rooms for sleeping and bathing so kinda made sense. Tje roo and the hotel is very clean and while old is fairly well maintained. Its in the absolute heart of it all and on a beautiful street that easily conveys you to everything you need. I'd absolutely recommend this place and id...

Went there to watch a match and I love the atmosphere and the staff was super nice and on time to ask for our order, specially the bartender there. He has the best attention to us but I gave 3 start coz the food is awful! We order a burger and steak and both meat were dry and has zero taste and the bread super dry as well!! And for the price, we were expecting something better ..... I know that it is an sport bar but I have been in couple of them around Dublin and have better food than here. I recommend the place for drinks and entertainment but not for food. Definitely go to another place first to eat and then go there to enjoy drinks .

My friend held her wedding party there. The food was excellent (I've got the lamb shank) and the service was so good despite the big number of people that showed up. They did everything they could to accommodate everyone. Tbh in my opinion the interior of the second floor can be better without the wallpaper or with a light colour also the lighting and the chandeliers (the ceiling is too low for it) in the ceiling ruined most of the pics which can be improved to help the nice atmosphere of the place. The overall was a positive experience, Thanks!

We didn't plan on going to Trinity bar, but as we were walking past heard a live musician (Scotty Connor as we found out), who was absolutely wonderful so decided to wander in. We were greeted by a lovely friendly barmaid and ordered drinks and food. Vegan/vegetarian nachos were grand. Scotty, the musician, was absolutely FANTASTIC, he made the atmosphere so incredible and did such a diverse array of music- country, blues, reggae, rock etc. We could not recommend this place more. What a wonderful way to spend our final afternoon in Dublin <3
