D'Grill — Restaurant in Dublin

10/10 Halal Place in the area.

At a first glance online, I wasn't so sure about this place. I'm abit of a food connoisseur, I travel nationwide for work and try different cuisines and places all the time. I ended up here primarily because I had finished managing an event nearby.

Once I entered the takeaway I was greeted with an absolutely lovely lady called Nina. With Lovely smile and an attentive demeanor she was on the ball from the get go. I asked her for recommendations and she ran me through several different types of options. I opted for the Grill Chicken Wrap, Nina was a true professional with the estimated ETA for the kebab. She was attentive to every little detail, such as coming back to my table to ask how I'd like my kebab, placed on a open plate with all the Ingredients or would I like it wrapped up and served in a roll.

Trust me, these finer details matter as the slightest inconsistency can ruin the experience. The kebab was fantastic, succulent and tender with the right sauces.

I'm not sure if Nina is part of the ownership of this takeaway, but she sure works like she owns it. I'm glad I dropped by. If you're greeted with her when you visit, you're very likely already onto a winning dinner !

Came into the restaurant the other night whilst working to have my dinner. I ordered the Afghan Pallow. Whilst eating the meal, I noticed a very bad smell from the meat. I tried on several occasions to get the attention of the floor staff but no one came to assist me. Eventually I got the attention of a staff member and I explained that their is something wrong with the meat that is has a foul smell coming from it. He went and told the kitchen. I spoke to someone from the kitchen and he sent the manager to speak to me. He kept trying to explain to them but he kept telling me no I was wrong there is nothing wrong with the food. I paid €20 for this food and instead of offering to change my food or give me a refund, he basically wouldn't listen to what the customer was saying. He told me to order something different the next time I came in. Very very unprofessional approach and I definitely would suggest that people avoid this restaurant as the staff don't care about their customers or the standard of their food. I recently dined at your restaurant after 1 a.m., and unfortunately, my experience was incredibly disappointing. The food I was served was of very poor quality, and it felt as though I was being given the leftover scraps from the kitchen. I truly feel for your late-night customers, as they are likely a key reason your business stays open, yet they seem to be treated with utter disregard.The lack of care in the preparation and quality of the food is appalling. I was served cold meat and what seemed to be raw tortilla bread. The meal was unappetizing, and frankly, it felt as though I was being treated like an afterthought—or worse, like I was less than deserving of proper food.To add to the frustration, when I voiced my concerns to the manager, he responded by saying he didn’t know me and had never seen me dine there before. It’s unsettling to think that only regular customers receive decent service, while new customers like myself are treated with such disrespect.I would never recommend this restaurant based on this experience.
