Overall, the food and drinks were excellent—the steak, in particular, was one of the best I’ve ever had, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The atmosphere of the pub was great, beautifully decorated and the service was initially attentive. However, there was a bit of confusion with our order. We were served fries we hadn’t ordered, and we assumed they were part of the meal as described on the menu. Unfortunately, they were later added to the bill. While the bartender was kind enough to try to resolve the issue, the manager seemed unwilling to address our concerns, which left us feeling a bit disappointed. It’s a shame because the quality of the food was outstanding, there wasn’t a crumb of food left on the plate! If the management were more understanding, it would have made the experience flawless.

We stumbled upon this one while finding a quick place to eat and were extremely happy with the food and quality. The staff is very helpful (and fun) and we had a very nice time each stay.

Excellent food and drink experience at the upstairs Indian tapas restaurant in the Lucky Duck. Really buttery garlic naan and well seasoned chips. Our cocktails were delicious and the service was great! Raspberry cheesecake was divine. I highly recommend the bang bang (pictured) if you like a spicy marg. It’s a small room with a bar in the corner which makes it a very intimate experience. Only complaint would be the food prices are a little high. The duck spring rolls are listed as a “main” for €12, but it only comes with three. It should be much cheaper for the amount of food. The rest of the food and drink were okay price-wise. There is also a service charge of 12.5%, but we had no issues with paying that due to excellent service and set up.

Where do I begin! If I could give more stars I would. First up, I have to comment on their music, which rocks (pardon the pun). It wasn’t intrusive or excessive - absolutely perfect for the day that was in it. We were two friends just rounding off brunch earlier on in Camden Street. The cafe didn’t serve alcohol to our horror (kidding) so we had to remedy the issue and decided The Lucky Duck was yer only man. The cocktails were to die for - each one nicer than the last. Yes, we did have more than one but it’s important to quality check. There are dozens of worthy bars around city centre Dublin but what sets The Lucky Duck apart from other places is their staff. I came here a few weeks ago for food and drinks and I was blown away by the friendliness of their staff. The service was astounding - when our allotted time was up, the staff asked us nicely (very nicely) if we could move to the downstairs bar. And this is the best bit - they actually found us a table downstairs. I have never encountered anything like it. Note to The Lucky Duck - it is highly likely I will be returning. A big shout out to the bar manager Kevin - he was friendly and chatty. Oh, and makes wicked cocktails! *we returned to the lucky duck on the 26th of November. The cocktail menu has changed and we felt it wise to do a spot of quality checks to ensure they were up to standard. We checked at least four times apiece. Very serious work this. The drinks matched up to our previous brilliant experience. We will definitely be back! Go The...

New gastro pub in the unlamented Lucky Duck space. We’ve become frequent visitors to Dublin, and this has instantaneously become our favorite pub. Downstairs is an old-fashioned pub set up with extremely friendly bartender and space for live music. Great place to hang out. Upstairs is where the surprise happens. The food is simply amazing. And upscale, but not up priced take on typical Irish pub food, with a few tasty additions thrown into the menu. Some veggie options as well. The feather beef was one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten in Ireland. Won’t spoil the surprise, just order it. The pasta on the menu was not the typical creamed, overdone version you tend to see, but rather an extremely mushroom linguine perfectly cooked al dente in a light flavored olive oil presentation. Owners Chris and Eddie are long time veterans of the Dublin restaurant and pub scene, and Chef Christian has had significant success in his earlier associations, and should do exceptionally well here. Cannot recommend this place...

Been here twice in the one week & will return for sure after I arrange my next date to catch up with friends. The staff Federico & Angie took very good care of us & were both very engaging. Downstairs is a cool “old school feel” bar but upstairs feels like being in someone’s house and I love that contrast. It’s a much more relaxed vibe upstairs for me personally and that’s what I like. The food is very good (and I am a super fussy foodie who would not be shy about complaining if it was bad) it’s very good value for money overall and I don’t say that lightly as Dublin in general is very expensive. It’s lovely to be able to sit outside also on a nice day & take in the sights & sounds of Dublin…..of which there are plenty!! I would definitely recommend this venue for a number of reasons. They have gorgeous private rooms to rent for occasions and their cocktails are fantastic. What you waiting for????? Go check it out NOW and thank me for it later!!!...
