I had the kimchi braised beef short rib ramen and the crispy salmon roll along with a sprite for a total price of €33.

Starting with the ramen… I’m not a huge fan of kimchi in ramen and the staff kindly served the kimchi sauce separately to the ramen broth which was very good of them. The star of the show was definitely the beef short ribs which were absolutely outstanding. The fat was perfectly rendered and the beef ribs were wonderfully seared giving an amazing deep beefy flavour. Perfectly tender beef ribs on the bone.

I don’t think the broth in the ramen was real (as in…slow simmered pork bones etc) however it was a valiant attempt and towards the end of the ramen, some beef rib fat had seeped into the broth which made it passable. It’s almost impossible to find genuine ramen broth in Dublin. I rate this broth at the higher end of the spectrum for Dublin.

The tomago was properly cured but this egg was a little overdone for my taste. I think I prefer the molten yolk in a ramen. The noodles were not good and of the freeze dried instant variety.

The ramen also contained black fungus and menma which were fine. It’s totally worth ordering this ramen just to experience the beef ribs which as I said.. were totally outstanding.

The crispy salmon roll was very tasty. I appreciated the crispy nori around the edge of each roll and was pleasantly surprised to find the sushi rolls topped off with a little caviar.

The shop itself is nice and the staff were excellent. I will return here to try the teriyaki salmon ramen and the tempura soft shell crab roll. Good job guys and thank you for the top notch food. I recommend this...

Served me chicken in a vegan ramen and didn't even apologise. Needs serious improvement.

EDIT: Reply to owner. I am aware there was mushrooms in the dish but what I found was indeed real chicken and smelled of chicken. Also, your staff never mentioned anything, they simply said "ok" when I brought it to their attention. I understand in a kitchen where meat is prepared this can often happen but I felt how it was handled was extremely poor. It's very easy to apologise and then give the feedback to the kitchen, especially when people can be allergic to chicken. Also, the vegan and vegetarian dishes are marked as containing fish, I did bring this to the staff member's attention and in this case they did check with the kitchen because it's confusing to see fish as an allergen on these dishes.

I completely understand that mistakes can happen, but I think how these issues are handled are important and leave a huge impression. I hope you and your team can take the constructive...

I came here after reading a review calling this one of the best ramen spots in Dublin. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen and honestly, it was just okay. Nothing terrible, but nothing special either — definitely not worth the hype.

The real disappointment was the calamari small plate. The menu described it as “Calamari, Wild Prawns Spice Bag, Peanut Chili Oil,” which sounded delicious. What I got instead was a plate that was 90% fries, with barely any calamari and no sign of prawns or chili oil. I even asked the server if this was the right dish, and she just repeated the menu description without acknowledging the issue.

Between the underwhelming food and the poor service, I left pretty disappointed. I really wanted to like this place, but when the menu doesn’t match what’s served — and no one seems to care — it’s hard to recommend.

My wife and I had the most pleasant evening at the restaurant- it was a find and we were very pleased to discover this absolut gem! We were delighted with everything: we went for the 2-course meal, and also enjoyed drinks and deserts. The portions are very generous and we ate more than you usually eat for that same price in Dublin City Center. The sushi and the beef Ramen in particular were delicious. Btw, the seasoning of the beef was probably the highlight of my meal. The drinks were also amazing! My wife and I have different tastes for drinks and we tried their classics (reinvented with a Japanese touch) - delicate and marvelous! The service is also impeccable, the crew's kindness and politeness transported us back to Japan. An incredible experience and we couldn't recommend this place more.
