āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø A Hidden Gem Full of Nostalgia – Jackie’s Bar, Dublin šŸ‡®šŸ‡Ŗ* I stumbled across *Jackie’s Bar* completely by chance — and what an unforgettable experience it turned out to be. As I walked past, the display of *classic CRT TVs, a retro boombox,* and vintage decor caught my eye instantly. It felt like stepping into a time capsule, and I couldn’t resist going in. From the moment I entered, I was transported back to the golden era of the *80s and 90s.* The entire bar is packed with iconic items from decades past — every corner tells a story. If you're into nostalgia, this place is a dream. *Fred*, the barman, was incredibly warm and welcoming. He offered me a small taster before I ordered a full pint — a lovely gesture you don’t see often anymore. The vibes inside were unmatched — relaxed, fun, and full of character. It genuinely felt like being back in the 90s with great music, good people, and a unique atmosphere that’s hard to find these days. I've taken some brilliant photos which I’ll be including in this review — but honestly, no picture can fully capture the charm this place offers. *A must-visit spot in Dublin if you’re craving something different, nostalgic, and memorable.* I’ll definitely be back. šŸ‘ŒšŸ»šŸ‡®šŸ‡Ŗ

We visited this place on the evening of this last Saturday the 11th. I’m so glad my colleague and I chose to go to this place in the city. I’m sure every place has its unique hospitality in this wonderful city. Our server for the night was Danielle. She was such a sweetheart. Gave us such a warm welcome and was super friendly. We came all the way from Toronto tried this place. Such a great vibe inside, plus the playlist they had playing was our fav. They even gave out candy from the 90s which was super nostalgic and yummy. Loved every bit of this placeā¤ļø Made our day, thank you for your kind and generous hospitality will def come back. We were mostly served by Danielle but all of the staff members were super kind and had a huge smile on their faces. They were all very accommodating. I love this country, and Irish people are just too kind and friendly, making our day one after the other. They never let me down. So grateful to have visited šŸ‡®šŸ‡Ŗā¤ļø I really hope the owner recognizes Danielle and all its employees for all that they do for all of their customers. Thank you again✨

This place is ok but don't order any pizza if you want a suggestion. Basically what they are doing is kind of illegal... They say that you can have a pizza, they would order it for you from a local pizzeria and that you will get the delivery soon. This was confirmed by the staff and this is really bad, not professional and again kind of illegal. Reality is that after you pay 12/18 euro for a pizza they go on the back, they take a frozen pizza (Lidl maybe? definitly one of the cheapest frozen pizza you can get at the supermarket) throw it in their oven for 7 minutes and delivery to your table in a carton box pretending they just got it by the pizza palce they work with. When I got the pizza (not edible for me) and I understood the story I didn't even get an apology from the staff... pity. I will personally not return to this place again despite I liked it. Pictures attached are taken on theie outside area.

Walking into this bar was like stepping straight into a time machine—destination: the 1990s. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was completely transported. The decor is perfectly curated, with vibrant neon lights, lava lamps, cassette tapes on the walls, vintage TVs playing old music videos, and booths decked out in bold 90s prints. Every little detail has been thought through, and it shows. It doesn’t feel cheesy or overdone—it feels like you’re actually hanging out in a cool 90s basement, but with better drinks and a way better sound system.

Now, let’s talk about the real star of the night: 90s Bingo Night. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this was honestly one of the most fun and unique bar experiences I’ve had in a long time. The bingo cards were cleverly designed with 90s references—think boy bands, old-school cartoons, and pop culture icons. And the energy in the room? Electric.

But what truly made the night was the Bingo DJ. Absolute legend. He kept the crowd hyped all night long, mixing 90s hits flawlessly in between calls, dropping nostalgic sound effects, and engaging the crowd with hilarious commentary. The vibe was half dance party, half game night—and it totally worked. Everyone was laughing, singing along, and genuinely having a blast. You could tell the DJ was passionate about the music and knew how to read the room, which made the entire night feel seamless and special.

If you’re a 90s kid (or just wish you were), this place is a must. Whether you’re here for the themed drinks, the amazing retro atmosphere, or the unbeatable bingo nights, you’re in for something truly unique. I’ll absolutely be back—and I’m bringing more friends next time. Long live the...

Called for a booking for bottomless brunch yesterday and was told it was walk ins only. We walked in 30 minutes early today as advised by staff, and told to take a seat and they will see if we could get the brunch. Then we're moved from the table we were told to sit in because someone had booked it. Moved to the bar, still no update from staff regarding whether we would be able for brunch. When we flagged them down again we were told it was looking hopeful. Eventually we were waved down to seats towards the back, I asked the bar staff do I sit anywhere and got a thumbs up. Was sat down and no one came over to ask us about what drinks we wanted, what food etc... staff walking past us the whole time bringing drinks in and out for other people. The cocktail menu has the drinks priced at 11.00 but the charge we were given was 12 per cocktail. Such a shame because the staff are all very friendly, the cocktails incredibly tasty, the decor fun and nostalgic. This place has so much going for it, it just seems the staff are not able to organise between walk ins and bookings. Ultimately we received bad service from very friendly staff and this has left us with a bad taste in our mouth for the place itself. Cannot recommend unless you have a booking in advance and even then I cannot honestly recommend the food as I was never given a chance, despite us being there for 1.5 hours.

Plenty of other places in walking distance that offer bottomless brunch, ended up going elsewhere. Such a shame as we would have both loved the place...
