An absolute must for breakfast if you're in Dublin! The experience here was great. From the very beginning the staff was very welcoming and friendly, great atmosphere, you could smell fresh coffee at the entrance. Went there with a group of 8, the place is not big and we had no reservation, so we gratefully accepted to be seated separately. 10 mins later the staff moved us to a table for the whole group. So really appreciated their attention to detail and flexibility. Food was as great as their staff! Best Irish breakfast in Dublin! I tried different Irish breakfast versions during my time at Dublin and this was hands down the very best. Fresh ingredients for a delicious homemade, farm-to-table Irish breakfast. I just wish the beans came included with the breakfast but it's great that you can order them as a side (generous portion of beans, by the way). Coffee was also perfect! Our group had cappuccinos, espressos, Irish coffees (of course, as well as a few Guinness) and they were all praising their coffees. I will definitely come back!

I visited the cafe this morning with some friends, the staff was very friendly, the place was very busy and crowded and the waitress was doin an amazing job, the service was fast, they came to check on us quite often The menu is not that expensive, but I’ll leave as suggestion to include more dietary alternatives for cases of allergies or intolerance, I got a latte but they only had regular and oat milk, I’m allergic to dairy and I particularly find the soys milk very tasty but unfortunately they only had oat milk, some of the dishes are made with dairy so I didn’t have much of a choice. Also for my coffe they didn’t have many syrups just vanilla but I think they forgot the syrup on my coffee or they just added very little. Most of the goods were made from scratch or recently baked the place was very clean and cozy. I’ll definitely consider visiting again.

So good we had to come back twice! The feta and spinach roll was absolutely amazing! I didn’t realize it would be served with greens and sour cream (?) but it really added to it and made it such a refreshing breakfast after a long day of traveling. The traditional Irish breakfast was also very filling and tasty. The coffee was fantastic and I also bought some loose bora bora tea to take home. The second day I got the quiche Lorraine which was massive and very filling. 10/10 recommend to anyone traveling in Dublin.

I am updating my original post as I need to add a couple of things since posting the original review yesterday :

First and foremost, attempting to put guilt on my shoulders for sharing honest feedback is beyond unprofessional. Your response to my review is actually shocking!

I left here today, with a slightly bitter taste in my mouth, unfortunately. This place is (or was) nostalgic and memorable for me as I used to frequent it with a Canadian friend many years ago, when it had the outdoor seating area. It really was a joyous spot with a nice vibe.

A couple of things that I observed during my time here are as follows : 2 x males just walked out as it appeared that they hadn't been served as it was taking too long. They were in front of me as I entered the cafe. One waitress who was relatively pleasant showed me to a dirty table. That isn't the issue here. The problem is that she didn't even bother to clean it, and it had obvious crumbs everywhere. I felt very uneasy but couldn't be bothered asking for it to be cleaned as it's common courtesy and basic manners. The order was delivered to my table by three different staff members???? One item was forgotten about, causing me to get up from my table and ask for it again?? One server came to me, with someone else's order, after having only served me minutes before. When serving a dessert, it might be an idea to offer heating it up, especially as we're transitioning into colder months now. Fresh cream was straight out of a carton and not even whipped? Seriously? Coffee was sharp and bland, absolutely not for my palate.

Guys, you can do better than that. Please invest more in some of the finer details. Trust me, it makes a big difference.

This cafe has always had lots of potential, and it's in a very central and important location for Irish tourism.

It's a shame to see it lose its charm ✨️

Lastly, this feedback is fully intended as constructive. Hopefully (some of it, at least), will be taken on board.

Sadly, after reading the owner's manipulative response with an obvious lack of acccountability, I definitely won't...

Ordered two full Irish breakfasts, coffee and tea not included so a bit on the expensive side but it's located in temple bar so they could get away with that price. However the term full "irish" nothing about the breakfast was traditional Irish, the most disgusting breakfast I have ever recieved we could literally not eat the black and white pudding as it was raw, tasteless food, the sausages were undercooked and certainly not Irish, very disappointing and misleading NOT AN IRISH BREAKFAST PLEASE TAKE IT OFF YOUR MENUE IT'S INSULTING!!! Bacon was disgusting too, eggs were so strange tasting, fried tomato not fried, fried potatoes yep they gave use 3-4 tiny slices, the only thing we could eat was the toast, giving 1 star for the coffee and oj as they got that right, however they gave us our drinks and we had to wait 15 mins for our food, while they served takeaway coffees to the arrival of new customers, pokey small kip, staff were unfriendly clearly knew we didn't touch our breakfast they had walked past several times cost for tea coffee and one organelles juice and two inedible misleading "Irish" breakfast cost €26 and the guy serving when paying never even asked how we enjoyed it because he knew, never complain about food but this place was the pits!!! Left the place still hungry, stay clear unless your just after a...

Cute little place, great service and atmosphere. The cakes looked PHENOMENAL! Unfortunately the avocado toast I had was... very subpar

For starters, the menu didn't specify how the eggs were prepared. I admit I usually expect poached eggs on avocado toast, which is not what the menu said and it's my fault for not asking, but the eggs I got on that toast weren't even scrambled, they were just... messy. You could see the brown marks from the pan. No way this is a scrambled egg, it looked more like a failed omelette.

There wasn't NEARLY enough avocado.

The bread was advertised as sourdough but it honestly had the bland texture of toast. I have seriously made better avocado toast with the 3€ loaf from Tesco.

Additionally the topping was just missing something in terms of flavor - maybe some chilli or some more salt or some spring onion would've helped? I think there was also a little bit of maple syrup drizzled on it which didn't make sense because there wasn't anything salty and savory to counterbalance (like bacon).

I'll be back to try the...
