The place has a nice atmosphere with beautiful people and good music, we went to celebrate a great friend's birthday and we weren't disappointed with the place but service is difficult when you're on the top floor, we wanted to order food and the bar staff didn't they could do it we went downstairs to ask the receptionist to send us someone to take our orders but an hour later when the waitress finally appeared it was to say that the kitchen had already closed. We were disappointed but we will still come back to drink and enjoy the vibe of the place.

Great pre-drinks place where you can get the classic Base pizzas and accompany it with a good selection of beers and cocktails. Music is used as background during the day/evening and then they turn it up at around 10.00 (when kitchen closes) so it becomes more of a social place rather than dinner. Service is a bit slow but staff is extremely friendly. I highly recommend the Raspberry Beret signature cocktail if you're into fruity drinks!

First visit last night as part of a hen party. The cocktail making was brilliant. Colm (I hope I've spelt it right) was so friendly and chatty. We had such a laugh. The room was lovely. The food was very disappointing. One small wooden box platter for 18 of us. I am almost sure somebody mentioned we had been double booked. We had more cocktails downstairs. The espresso martinis were the best I've ever had.

I want to start by saying the food was really nice here and the staff were really really lovely but the fun ended there.

We arrived here 4 mins early for our 4pm booking and were turned away and asked to come back in 10 mins because of a private function. We were not offered any compensation for this, even a drink for the inconvenience.

When we got inside, (the place is really nice inside) but we couldn't sit in this seat because there was a private function on upstairs and when I tell you the atrocious noise that came from there was utterly insane. I couldn't' even make out if the musician was any good because the PA was literally the worst PA on the planet. All you could hear was screaming and shouting. I asked was this party here often and I was told it was the first time. I absolutely love Brazilian music and that's what this party claimed to be playing. More like an insult to Brazil. We were moved out the back to the cold, but there were heaters and so we were grand. Then the staff put the house music on through the speakers to try drown out the cacophonous din of hell coming from upstairs, that made it all worse and we nearly left but I had pre bought a living social voucher so I was a bit determined to stay. They EVENTUALLY turned down the house music and all we could do was laugh and vow never to return. I can't understand why management didn't give me warning that the level of screaming down a microphone would be present the same time as me and my party were attending. Forewarned is forearmed and all that. I had my booking for nearly 2 weeks and someone should have given me the opportunity to make alternative arrangements. If i had have had the head's up, I could have said "well at least they told me". I won't be returning here for the way that management run the place. But again, the girls who served us were really lovely and of course the "party" wasn't their fault. Bad management, probably won't last much longer for that reason. Shame, the food was...

Staff desperately need training and a decent manager.

So we had our friends Christmas night out here and it was a disaster. Straight from the start two of my friends had flat pints, so had to ask for new pints. No big deal. This stuff happens. We end up ordering food and all the pizza comes to the table and then the sides don't come till 15 mins later. The guy bringing us the pizzas don't even know what pizza he's carrying TO. I go to the bar to order a round of drinks and the bartender looks like I've asked him a maths equation because he has to remember 6 drinks. Guess what... he doesn't remember the drinks and we end up getting 2 down to the table. 20 minutes later another 2 drinks come. We ask where the other 2 are and they asked us what did we order again. Another 10 minutes later the other 2 come. I'm not even sure I got the right beer in the end, but was just happy to get something in front of me. Also just to mention the place wasn't even half full with people.

I always tip even though it's not expected in Ireland, but there was no way I was tipping this place, but wait.... They just add on a service charge anyways.

The only thing I say though is that the pizza is great, but would never go back again to go through...

Walked in and they had no idea where we were to be sitting for our reservation. They placed us outside even though we did not ask or book to sit outside however the reservation list told us we booked outside but this was not the case as there are no booking options for outside. We were placed at a table for 6 people and the waiter had no idea what was going on. We asked for a table inside from two other waiters and they barely had any english and they were telling us about en event upstairs which had no relevance to us. We were then told to go inside as to find a table for ourself. We were then greeted by our previous waiter who seated us at a table inside. Dinner was fine, then we asked for the bill and the waiter smiled at us and did not come back with a bill. We tried to order a cocktail and an orchard thieves. We ended up with a cocktail and a plate of chips after waiting for 10 mins after the cocktail arrived and even asking the waiter where was the orchard thieves. While all of this was happening we noticed a pint that was sitting for at least 15 minutes was served to a table after adding more head. The service here was terrible and I would never recommend this place to anyone and i would definitely never go...
