Whenever you are in Lake Como, it's worth a stop at this lovely shop owned by Marco and his wife, Clare. I chatted for a long time with Marco and it's evident these bags were made in the traditional Italian style with expert craftsmanship, high quality materials, an attention to detail and, of course, lots of passion. I bought an Olmo Hobo Denim and Leather bag after Marco sold me on its durability by throwing water on it and scraping the side with a key (much to my initial horror!). The price point is also extremely reasonable for the level of quality--you'd be nuts to spend outrageous amounts of money on big name Italian brands that no longer pride themselves on craftsmanship because they are mass produced and coveted by certain trashy celebrities. I'm always happy to support small, local businesses and Nosetta is a hidden gem I don't mind telling...

Stumbled upon Nosetta in Como and could not feel happier about it. Marco is so knowledgeable and kind; the pride he has in his products shine through in conversation. The bags and accessories are beautiful and clearly made with durable, high quality fabrics and leather. I purchased the large salt and pepper tote, the small houndstooth tote and the matching small houndstooth wallet (for the Porsche 60th anniversary).
