Locanda degli Arcimboldi — Restaurant in Milan

My partner and I had an absolutely dreadful experience at this restaurant, and I cannot advise strongly enough against setting foot in this place. The lasagna we ordered was clearly defrosted, with a disgusting taste that was nearly inedible. Unfortunately, the calzone was no better - the pizza dough was undercooked and the ingredients were of embarrassingly poor quality. We barely touched our food and left it practically untouched.

To add insult to injury, the server was exceedingly unpleasant throughout the entire meal. It seemed as though we were bothering him merely by being there. When he came to collect our barely-touched plates, he didn't even bother to ask if everything was alright - not that it would have mattered at that point.

In short, we strongly urge everyone to avoid this restaurant at all costs. Don't waste your time or money on such a terrible...

We were ‘greeted’ by a cold unfriendly waiter. Then a waitress came to our table who was very warm, friendly and helpful. You get the menu by scanning a qr code on the table - it translates to English well. One of the pizzas we ordered was vegan - it seemed no care was taken in the placement of toppings - like they were thrown on, so some of the pizza had lots and some had none. The vegan cheese wasn’t very good- but I was grateful they had some! The pizza was very soggy in the middle - went to mush.

It’s good and bad that the pizzas came out incredibly fast - obviously we weren’t waiting long but it does beg the question as to whether these are freshly made…

You pay €2 per head on top of the bill. No prob, just no tip.

Very unfriendly owner. No customer care. I made a stop here with my two little daughters to get something to drink and to eat a salad, and when I moved one chair to sit next to my daughters the owner came immediately to tell me that I could not do that. The place was empty, we were the only customers but she said it was not allowed. So strange and cero understanding because I wanted to be near my girls to help them so I had to stand next to them the whole time. I asked then to better take the salad to go. They did charged the coberto but we didn't even touched the bread, we only used 2 glasses for the drinks. Horrible experience and the salad had nothing special.
