Yesterday, my family, friends, and I dined at Ristorantino dell’Avvocato. The ambiance was inviting and spacious, which initially set a positive tone for our evening. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not live up to this promising start.
First and foremost, the service was excruciatingly slow. We waited an unreasonably long time for our food, leaving many of us frustrated and fuming. While the staff was polite, their attentiveness did little to mitigate the extensive delays.
When our meals finally arrived, we found the food quality to be decent, but nothing to write home about. It was satisfactory, just okay, but not remarkable enough to overshadow the agonizing wait.
Adding to our dismay was the restaurant's perplexing policy that required everyone at the table to order the same menu. This rigid rule significantly dampened our dining experience, as it restricted our ability to enjoy a variety of dishes and cater to individual preferences.
Overall, while the setting was lovely, the sluggish service and restrictive menu policy were major disappointments. We give Ristorantino dell’Avvocato 3 stars for the ambiance and decent food, but we hope they can improve on these critical aspects to enhance the dining experience.
The ownership were lazy people seeking refuge in restaurant “policy” , but the waiter was trying his best to navigate this mess as best he could. Big blockages from restaurant owner who happened to be watching euros on his laptop instead of helping expedite peoples orders and issues long into...

First, I was happily surprised with the glasshouse terrace which looks much better than on the pictures.
Then we had the 6 course menu. Everything was quite simplistic with no sauce or creativity in terms of tastes. Some dishes were good, others a bit less. For me there was too much fried fish, especially the fourth fish was ridiculously big on portion, especially when you have 6 dishes in total to eat. It would be a good idea to revise a bit the portions to avoid food waste. Overall I was expecting a bit more creativity and complex tastes.
I really liked the dessert: the tiramisu comes with an espresso poured on top, I’ve never seen that before!
Maybe it’s more interesting to choose a...
Read moreThe service is fantastic and the ambience is lovely - it's a classic fine dining spot but feels relaxed enough to visit on any given night of the week.
We thoroughly enjoyed the cream of squash soup with shaved truffles, and the accompanying homemade bread was spectacular.
However, the following courses of shrimp stuffed ravioli, and lamb ribs, could have been better. The execution was fine, but the recipes weren't particularly great. I imagine one might have a better time ordering the right dishes.
Still, we had a relatively good time here, and it'd be nice to visit again for another go...
