Tourist trap: cold food, grumpy waiters, way too expensive for what you get, they lie about the card (they tried to lure us inside with the card and when we sat down literally nothing we could order), they kept forgetting the orders. Go find something nice when in Palermo if u like food

Reaction on the bars reaction: if you lure people in with the promise of breakfast and then there is nothing left, its false advertising (lying). The waiter was grumpy, the orders still got messed up, the food was cold and one friend never got his food so left after 30 min to get a sandwich around the corner.

Seems like based upon its location, etc., that it would be a very tourist trappy kind of awful place, but we actually enjoy sitting at their barrel tables in the street that no one ever seems to want to sit at, yes they do harass people as they walk by which would’ve kept us away (and did initially), but we’ve gone back several times during what has turned out to be a longer than anticipated stay in Palermo this year, and quite enjoy the staff and seating.

They’ve even sold us bottles of gin and wine that they do not typically sell to patrons, including a cute fox gin which has been sold out everywhere else here in Palermo (even restaurants so we haven’t even tried it) that we look forward to bringing back home to London and New York, to sit on our bar carts (and never open), as it reminds us of our beloved deceased...

Cocktails came in a Cognac glass? The Bellini was a very small portion. Very warm drinks. Even without ice they have to be cool. No drinking straws. No lemon in drinks or something like that.

Nice guys but you have to learn how to make drinks. Sorry bros

Edit! Ps: Just google for yourself how the real „sex on the beach“ look like. I did it and I only found pictures in a regular and nice cocktail glass with decorations and a drinking straw! You will never find that drink in a little glass like you served it.

And the outside temperature is not an argument for a warm served drink! Even without ice it has to come cool to the guest! Same for the Bellini.
