1- The place: the place is magnificent, theme is gorgeous, makes you feel that you are at one of Mediterranean Cafés especially Middle Eastern countries.
2- location: in the Campo di fiori area, a well known normally busy area with many people from different ethnicities and cultures.
3- Prices: relatively fair if you order wisely with getting the value of what you pay.
4- Food & Drinks: Genuine and tasty, portions are good. If you like Mediterranean cuisine then go to try what they have on the menu.
5- Shisha/Hookah: (limited to my experience in Rome only), by far one of the best places to have Shisha at and price is a bit cheaper than many others in the business. Good variety of flavours to choose from and somehow the Shisha lasts for a reasonable period of time.
6- Service: can't complain since its my 1st visit to the place and it was in the weekend and things are crazy during weekends.
Recommendations:
Work more on improving and have a bit faster service especially when it's related to Shisha and changing charcoals.
Shisha flavours need more work when preparing the mixtures and adding flavours and shisha would taste much better if flavours are a bit more condensed..
Conclusion: by far one of the best in the area and highly recommend it. Will be my new escape place and hope owners & management pay attention to my concerns and recommendations (I am a previous HOOKAH place owner)
Wish you all the best and hope visitors will have a pleasant experience similar to...
Read moreOne of the best restaurants of its kind (an possibly in general) in the whole town. It is located in an amazing corner of the historic city center, in walking distance from pretty much everywhere (Jewish ghetto recommended) and very well connected to the public transport, as much as this is possible in Rome. The staff is sensational. Kind, attentive, very friendly and ready to advise you and answer any question you might have. The atmosphere is unique. I was there with my wife, who is Īrānian, and she felt very much at home. So, no touristic scam. The food is great. The set menu is filling and delicious (top notch sauces). The tea takes you to another level. Plenty of flavours and the mint one, which I tried, comes with the actual branch of mint left in infusion (which is not self evident). The sweets are perhaps a little smaller than one might expect from the picture but they are worth every penny. The shisha comes in three options, again with a whole set of tobacco flavours. It lasts forever and it satisfies you to the bottom. I will come back any time I get the chance and I strongly advise anybody interested in places like this to go there before (and after) trying any competitor. Many thanks guys, and...
Read moreI'm a regular shisha smoker, and I have one at home. I was traveling and spending some time in Rome. One day, while walking, I smelled something familiar.
"It can't be true," I said. And I looked and I found this hidden gem.
The shisha is pretty good.
Price is fair, €18 for a regular shisha (I had a two hours session. I asked to change coals once).
You can choose between a dozen flavors and you can also mix them. They don't charge you for mixing flavors (in some places, they do!).
They have three connected rooms where you can enjoy your shisha. The three of them have different styles and ventilation. You can sit wherever you like.
There are only two aspects I didn't really enjoy:
You need to stand and walk to the end of the last room to catch a waiter to place an order or to ask for more coals. They won't come to you. When I entered, nobody welcomed me. I had to ask another customer whom I should talk to.
The seats are not really comfy as they look.
Although I had a great shisha experience, and when I'll go to Rome again, I'll definitely go back to this place again.
Highly...
