My mom and I went to this absolutely charming, village tavern style restaurant THREE times while were in Rome for 5 days. THAT is how much we loved this place! Every time we came, the service was better and better. Serafino, that reminded me of my grandpa, served us twice and he was so sweet and kind. Then, the third night, Tomas and Simone were so courteous, despite it being a busy Saturday night with locals and tourists. We truly appreciated the amazing service. They gave us SO much complimentary prosecco and a lovely sardine salad. And the PASTA is AMAZING! You can tell when it's authentic and let me tell you....this did NOT disappoint. We got the bucatini twice and the rigatoni with pepper is better than the one with egg in my opinion, and I don't usually like black pepper, so that's saying a lot. The cost for the experience was absolutely nothing, compared to what you pay for mediocre food and poor service in the same area. A huge thank you to Grazia, Serafino, Tomas and Simone for your amazing service, food and making it feel like I went to my Nona's house for dinner! We will definitely be paying you a visit when we come back in the spring!

- VERY rude staff - overpriced - bad food Service and fee: We ordered a risotto, bucatini, Coke, and a lemon drink — and the bill came to €89. They also added a ravioli we never ordered or ate. The server brought ravioli by mistake (I had clearly asked for risotto), and when I pointed it out, he denied it was his error and tried to blame me. He then took the ravioli away and brought the risotto later. We didn’t touch the ravioli at all, but they still charged us for it. When we complained, they told us to keep quiet and finally changed the bill to €64 — still no apology, just more blaming the customer for their mistake. Food: The bucatini was just “okay” honestly you could probably get better food at market. The risotto was overly salty and not enjoyable. This is the kind of tourist trap restaurant for people who know nothing about Rome and just stumble in. Avoid if you care about service, honesty, or actual good food.

SCAMMERS! DON'T GO THERE. Bad food. Bad service. I've never had such a bad restaurant experience in my life. We were waiting for drinks for 30 minutes. And we ordered only 2 beers and a glass of wine. They asked us what drinks we want 3 times. In the end they brought red wine and we ordered white. We were waiting for food for one hour. Ordered beef fillet WELL DONE. They brought us medium rare. No meat at all. Only fat. For 25 euro. In general the service wasn't good at all. Food wasn't delicious. And the cherry on the cake. They tried to scam us. Put 2 glasses of wine (we ordered one). 5 beers (we had 3 ) 3 waters ( we had one). After eating there we had to go to a different place to get some food. Don't recommend anyone waste their money and time.

We ended up here after passing by lots of typical Roman street restaurants as we wanted somewhere that looked a bit more special. What a mistake!! This is tucked down a small side street away from the crowds not far from the Via Veneto and designer shops and looks charming albeit not cheap. We only wanted simple so ordered a shared charcuterie and cheese board starter, one rigatoni carbonara and one bucatoni with tomato sauce and bacon with a glass of Pecorino d'Abruzzo each and a bottle of still water. The waiter said you want bread so I pointed out that the starter surely comes with bread. Yes of course he said. Starter great, good selection although some of the cheese slices were clearly the dry end parts but that's ok. Three half slices of bread one very dried out like it had been on the sun too long but edible. Before we finished the starter though out comes the next course. We don't want it yet so asked for it to be taken away until we're ready. A reasonable period then between finishing starter and the next course coming up so we think it's all freshly done. No the rigatoni is hot but a bit dry the bucatoni is cold. I tell the waiter and he says I'll get it heated up in two minutes. No way I ask for a fresh one so he says it will be a few minutes meanwhile Mrs P is left with the carbonara but clearly not enjoying it. Mine turns up and it's ok nothing to write home about but it's hot. Mrs P pushes hers around but clearly not enjoying it. It's way too salty, the egg has split and the cream is sour. I finish and point out the problem with the carbonara but little reaction so we decline anything else and ask for the bill. It arrives and not only have we been charged 3€ for the bread but also 14 € for the wine which we never got!! Sent it back after an argument about the wine and they removed the wine and eventually removed the 3€ for the bread. Paid it then realised there was also 4€ for a cover charge. By then we'd had enough and could argue no more so never again will we use this place and would not recommend it. By the way they were offering a daily special of t bone steak for 90€....

The food was pretty good. The waiter was awful. I sat alone and ordered a pizza and coffee drink. I was brought a similar looking pizza and coffee, but not the ones I ordered. First the waiter served me bruschetta that I didn't order. When I informed him a few minutes later he rudely replied, "then why you take?!" And he stormed off like a child (though he was really a clean-shaved gray haired dough-boy of 50-something). I've waited tables and managed restaurants, and I would have fired a no-good irresponsible waiter for blaming the customer for taking a bite of food the waiter mistakenly brought the table. I was ONE person, so getting the order straight should not be a difficult task and as a waiter you should take responsibility for messing up. A simple, "Sorry, my fault, I will fix this" is an appropriate response. Instead he acted like a little baby of an almost man. I was nothing but polite, and would NOT RECOMMEND eating here!!! If he could take responsibility like an adult, be polite to paying customers, he'd might be worth a Euro or two for hourly pay. But, he never returned to the table and he glared as I left the restaurant. Where I'm from, he'd get a proper back...
