The service in this restaurant (Acquaroof Terrazza Molinari) absolutely does not correspond to its status in terms of Michelin stars, pricing policy, and in general is unacceptable. We were there on 03/15/24, the waiter poured two glasses of lemonade with ice on me, after which I got soaked through and through both the top (blouse) and bottom (trousers), including underwear, shaking out pieces of ice from under my clothes. After the incident, the waiter quietly apologized and went into the kitchen. All the staff saw this, along with the receptionist, since we were the only customers in the restaurant at that time. None of the restaurant staff came up to help and offer at least a towel. My clothes were all wet and sticky. In this state, I couldn't continue to be with my friends at the restaurant. No more than 5 minutes have passed since the food was ordered. We explained the already obvious situation that I was soaking wet and sticky, so I needed to go to the hotel to change my clothes and that this evening was already irrevocably ruined. The administrator pretended to understand everything, apologized and sympathized. We asked to call us a taxi and asked about the upcoming dry cleaning of damaged items. In response, it was said that the restaurant was ready to compensate for the dry cleaning of things and pay for a taxi. They called a taxi and said it would arrive within 2 minutes. After waiting in the lobby of this institution for 10 minutes, we were informed that the taxi was delayed and would be there in 5 minutes. After waiting another 10 minutes, we were informed that there are problems with the taxi now and they do not know at all when it will arrive. We ordered a taxi to the hotel on our own via the Uber app. Upon returning to the hotel, I receive a message from my bank about an attempt to debit 560€ from my card by this restaurant, then about an attempt to debit 400€, then about an attempt to debit 300€ and finally, immediately, a message comes about a successful debit of 200€ from the card (since it was on this card at that time the amount is 206€). I immediately called the restaurant manager to sort out the situation and find out what was going on. I had to remind them again about the unpleasant incident that happened in their restaurant just an hour ago. The administrator began to get out of it, and say monstrous things, such as - "you should warn about allergies to lemonade in advance" (although there was no question of allergies), "food has already started cooking and you have to pay for it," and then just hung up. I couldn't get through to this restaurant anymore.… In such situations, you expect from the staff and the institution itself: understanding, sensitivity, compassion, responsibility for your actions, respect for customers and reasonable decisions. But in the end, I had to pay a lot of money for dinner, which was never brought, dry cleaning of clothes, a taxi to the hotel, and this is not to mention the spoiled mood and evening. I demand from the responsible employees of Michelin, in whose list this restaurant is present, from the management of this restaurant itself to thoroughly investigate the situation, punish the perpetrators and compensate me for the damage.

If you want to visit a restaurant with a high level of service, then in no case do I advise you to contact Acquaroof...

"Best" place to go if you have Amex dining credit burning a hole in your pocket. Otherwise, I’d strongly recommend trying one of the other restaurants on the Rome Amex list—or better yet, save your money altogether. If Amex wasn’t footing the bill, I wouldn’t dream of spending my own euro here.

Let’s start with the positives: the view. It’s undeniably stunning and a great spot for an evening drink and dinner. Unfortunately, the food doesn’t even come close to matching the scenery. My wife and I had a late lunch earlier in the day, so we decided to dip our toes in with just two appetizers (baby octopus and tuna tartare) before committing to mains or dessert. The presentation was lovely, but the flavors? Disappointingly average. So much so that we stopped at the starters—no mains, no dessert, not even a coffee.

As for the oysters on the menu, they’re priced at an eye-watering €12 per oyster. For context, oysters in Paris—a city not exactly known for being budget-friendly—usually cost €3-4 each. At €12, I’m assuming these must be the most mind-blowingly delicious oysters on the planet, though I didn’t dare test that theory.

A word of caution for smokers: while they do provide ashtrays, this is not a “cigar-friendly” rooftop, so if you’re envisioning a relaxing evening with a smoke, a drink, and a view, you might want to look elsewhere.

All in all, the view is nice—but then again, so are the views from most rooftop bars in Rome. Thanks to Amex for picking up the tab, but I’d highly suggest delisting AcquaRoof from your global dining selection. We came for the view, stayed for the credit, and left...

The service and location were both great, the view over rome was stunning. This made my partner and I both very excited and choose to order quite some food from their menu, which we did so with great regret. The entrees we had were the octopus and salted cod with truffle. The octopus was decent, but not very exciting. The cod was a bit pretentious, presented with shaved truffles except the truffles were not fresh and tasted of nothing, whole dish probably used truffle oil. We didnt even get bread at this point in our lunch, we had to ask after half finishing our appetizers, but okay whatever. Unfortunately it gets way worse from here, ordered sea urchin pasta and ravioli with bottarga. Both pastas were undercooked and chalky on inside, the ravioli more so, I couldnt stand it and had to tell the waiter about it. The ravioli came back with the same problem, I only ate it because I'd paid for it. At this point I lost interest in the food and whole dining experience, ate the calamari i ordered as a secondi quickly and decided to leave after without dessert. Overall this restaurant is pretentious because of its location and use it to serve very tasteless food at double the street price. Would not recommend to any traveller / diner short on time or seeking a...

Beautiful location with scenic views! VERY nice and engaging staff. My partner and I found this restaurant, with partially open air accommodations most enjoyable. Food was very nicely prepared, though they did not have the full lobster, which my partner desired. We both chose a pasta with lobster (different type of lobster - very small type), which was very nice. I had a nice glass of white Italian wine, recommended by the waiter, my partner had a most interesting cocktail, which was sort of gray in color (can’t recall the name), which was tasty. The bar area was nicely appointed, and it was interesting to watch the bartender as he diligently created various alcoholic concoctions. The atmosphere was upscale romantic with a sophisticated vibe - very nice indeed! We certainly would visit again if we are ever visit Rome again - first visit for me, second visit for my partner.

We were five people for dinner on a Wednesday night. We ordered various first course dishes, and then the gnocchi with mussels and steak, among others, as second course plates. The food, at least from what I could see of it in the ambient darkness, tasted average and was without spark. It's like the cuisine here has this ephemeral quality to it, you forget about it as soon as you've finished your plate. Generally, the expectation with a terrasse restaurant is, you don't come here for the food. But for the price we paid here (about 80 euros per person average, with drinks), the Michelin star, one has some expectations. ARTM is a good place to pre-game, or bring a date to. Not much in the way of a view, except the occasional lit monument out in the far distance and the presidential palace. Will not come back.
