Ripetta 25 — Hotel in Rome

Our family of four had never traveled outside the US so I was terrified of booking a place in Rome, being so far from home and familiar surroundings. I am so glad we booked Ripetta 25. No doubt location is great- walking distance to the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, and the Vatican. It’s the owner and manager who make this place absolutely perfect. They both speak great English and were so helpful and patient with all our questions. The breakfast they provide is fantastic. I loved the in-room espresso machine so much I bought one when I got home- and I never drank expresso before our visit. Despite being surrounded by crowds, the room is whisper quiet. This place is at least 6/5 stars. Exceeded all expectations. Cozy space with modern amenities like outlets and USB plugs next to the bed. Everything about it was amazing. The space was larger than expected, bathroom had everything you needed, and the balcony was dreamy. The communication was informative and prompt, and always available for questions you may have. Great location, near many good restaurants and bars(cafes), and Piazza del Popolo is a meeting spot for some tours. Metro is close to get you all around the city or for your way back after a long day of walking around the city. Very friendly and helpful owners who speak good English. We were shown around our room by Rebecca who was really friendly, gave us lots of advice and made us feel very welcome. The rooms come with breakfast which is refilled everyday. This includes things like bread, milk, fresh oranges, fruit juice, water, cereal, biscuits, rusks, jams, butter.
