I’ve been in this restaurant 2 days In a row. The first night when me and my friend have arrived there everything was more than perfect. The staff was absolutely amazing, great friendly attitude, great serving and the food was the best we ate so far in Rome. One of the guys from the staff has given us a voucher for 1 free bottle of Prosecco for our next visit.. with this gift the issues started. However as we have liked so much the place and the food, the next day we decided to visit it again and to use our gift as well cuz we don’t know if we will ever visit Rome again. When we have shown to one of the guys from the previous night the voucher he was swearing his colleague in Italian for this free bottle and then he told us in English “ah you are here for the free bottle, ok ok” with quite a lot of sarcasm. Then he got annoyed of us from what I’ve seen that we wanted to order the food later but not with the drinks. Anyway, the bottle came and in our voucher was clearly written 1 FULL BOTTLE. The stuff came, gave us 4 champagne glasses and put 1 finger of Prosecco. Then suddenly this bottle has disappeared forever from our table. We didn’t see it anymore but we said ok, that’s fine, the gesture was important. Nobody knows why when they served us the champagne glasses, they served an orange juice for our child in same type of glass. Of course at one point the kid broke by mistake this glass and nobody came to clean it. The broken glass and million pieces of it were on our table till we left. At the beginning they didn’t see and I called them to clean it, they said ok and didn’t clean. Then we have ordered the food, they have served it, seen the glasses and served the food ON THEM! Is that how you threat your guests ?! The ashtray hasn’t been changed all the time and after we finished our food , the table again hasn’t been cleaned. But pictures are saying everything I guess … Also we have been charged with 4 Euro more for putting 2 tables one next to the other which is unacceptable as the tables have been arranged this way all the time and nobody re - arranged them specially for us. Anyway we won’t visit this place never anymore even if it’s the last food spot in Rome! I hope management reads this and give them at least penalty ( the date was 17th of...

This restaurant is the best in Italy! From the moment I stepped into this Italian haven, I knew I was in for an unforgettable dining experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, a blend of rustic charm and understated elegance.
The highlight of my evening was a dish that redefined perfection: duck with a blue cheese sauce. The duck was cooked to absolute perfection, with a crispy golden exterior that gave way to tender, succulent meat. Every bite was a revelation, bursting with flavor and cooked with an artistry that showcased the chef’s expertise.
The blue cheese sauce was nothing short of genius. It had a creamy richness that was perfectly balanced with a nutty undertone. The nuts—whether in essence or sprinkled atop—added a delicate crunch and depth, creating a symphony of textures and tastes.
To accompany the dish, the restaurant offered an impressive wine selection. My server, attentive and knowledgeable, recommended a robust red wine that complemented the dish flawlessly, enhancing the richness of the duck and the creamy decadence of the sauce.
The service was impeccable throughout the night—gracious, unobtrusive, and genuinely welcoming. Every detail, from the presentation of the food to the thoughtful pacing of courses, reflected a passion for excellence.
This restaurant is a celebration of Italian cuisine at its finest. The duck with blue cheese sauce wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience that lingered in my mind long after the last bite. I can confidently say this was one of the best dining experiences of my life, and I’ll be returning to relive this culinary masterpiece. If you’re searching for perfection, you’ll...
Read moreDuring our city trip to Rome and Florence, we’ve visited this restaurant. The food was good. The service was really really bad. We noticed that the waiter was really rude to the customers that were sitting at other tables. The waiter asked us if we wanted to start with bruschetta as a starter. We thought this was a good idea and we ordered one to share as we had a late lunch. After a few minutes two big plates were served with on both four big pieces of toast. When we informed the waiter that we only ordered one, he angry took away one plate. When he served our main course he slammed the two plates on the table. After a few minutes the waiter was angry at a colleague. He was shouting at her in the middle of the restaurant! When we finished our main course, he asked “Do you want a desert?” and before we could reply he said “NO!” and walked away. We decided not to go for a desert and coffee and we asked for the bill. The bill mentioned one (so that was correct) bruschetta. But not a bruschetta of 3 euro but a bruschatta of 9 euro. Apparently a bruschetta like a grand dessert. It’s only a few euro and initially two times a few euro. But we think the waiter is a.o. to let you feel comfortable and to inform you clearly. So this was not the case. This felt like a scam ... tricking people the increase the total bill. A main course (pasta/ pizza) is only 10 euro. So if he can sell two big plates of bruschetta, he will double the bill (excluding drinks). We stayed two days in Rome and two days in Florence and we were happy that this was an exception (so our only bad experience with eating eight times in a...
