This place is a real gem if you're staying close or just passing by and want a drink or two. We went here every night we were in Rome and enjoyed every visit. The owner is a lovely guy and it just had a really friendly local laid back feel to it. We sat outside, which had heaters, and when it got really cold he brought out blankets, which was a nice touch. Drinks were 6 euros each for standard wine and a large beer, which is a bargain, and we were given a few nibbles as well which were really nice as per the photo. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

If we ever come back to Rome, we will make it a point to stop here and have bottle and enjoy. Thank you for the hospitality and amazing wine recs, snacks, and pizza - Domus Vini!

Owner was just awsome! Relaxed, helpfull and easy going. So service is perfect. You can select from about 12 different wines on the glass and hundreds of bottles, if you wish. We also ordered a bit of salami & cheese, which is great with the wine. White wine is served cold, as it should be. I also tried 2 red wines, which were a bit warm, bit note, that outside it was over 30 degrees C. You should visit!!!

What a lucky find, this Domus Vini! Our first visit was pre-theater - it is very close to Teatro dell'Opera - and we loved the vines, the little snack tray, the atmospheric decor, and the charming owner so much that we came back on our last night in Rome. This time, we were helped by a young woman who not only recommended an excellent wine, but also, offered everyone complimentary pizza as an extra snack (brought from the pizzeria next door that just closed for the day).
